Chapter Seventeen

Jordan P.O.V

Rydel got off of me and grabbed my hand and lead us towards where Jenna, Rocky and Riker were. 

“Guys I’m sorry I-” “Rydel it’s okay we forgive you. Plus we knew that you were only trying to protect us.” Jenna said. “Yeah and we love you.” Rocky added. They both gave Rydel a hug. “Good luck to you two.” Rocky said. And with that they both left and went into a room. 

It was now me, Riker, and Rydel. Riker was giving me a dirty look so I decided to leave. 

“I’ll let you two talk. Okay?” I asked. Rydel nodded and kissed me one last time. I walked out the door and left. 

Riker P.O.V

Rydel and I stood there silent. I saw her making out on the couch with Jordan like 5 minutes ago and I guess my protective instincts kicked in. Jordan was my friend. Why would he date my sister?

“Riker, I’m sorry for everything.” Rydel said. I looked up at her. “I should be sorry. I’ve been acting sorta rude to you.” I said. “No Riker. I was. But I only did it to protect you guys. I love you and I wouldn’t be able to handle myself if you got hurt.” She said. I giggled. 

“Wow. You sound a lot like me when I get protective.” I said. She smiled and ran into my arms to give me a hug. “I’m so sorry. I’ll never do anything to hurt you ever again.” She said with her face buried in my chest. “I love you too Rydel. Your the best sister any brother could have.” I replied. 

She let go of me and was crying black tears. I realized soon enough that it was mascara. I wiped her eyes with her thumb and hugged her again. 

I released her and smiled. “I’m very sorry.” She repeated. “Rydel, it’s okay. I should’ve trusted you and I should learn to be less protective at times.” I replied. “No Riker. I know you forgive me for that. I’m sorry for something else.” She replied. 

“What?” She started to wipe my shirt. “I got mascara all over your shirt.” She replied. I laughed and smiled at her. “It’s okay. It’ll come out.” I said. “One more thing.” Rydel said. 

“What is it?” “How do you like the fact of Jordan and I dating?” She asked. “To be honest I’m not a huge fan of it but I will support it.” I smiled. She hugged me again. “But if he hurts you I will kick his ass!” I yelled. 

She felt her smile. “Is it to late for me to join R5 again?” She asked. I chuckled. “Of course not!” 

I’m glad to finally have my sister back!

*Beginning of November* 

Melody P.O.V

It was Rocky’s birthday and well Jenna and I wanted to surprise him by decorating his locker. We arrived to school 20 minutes early to Rocky’s locker. We put green gift wrapping paper and decorated it with drawings, hearts, sparkles, and to top it off Jenna sprayed Rocky’s favorite perfume on it and even stained her lips onto the paper. 

“This looks great!” I squealed. “I know now all we need to do is put my present inside his locker.” She opened his locker and placed a green bag inside his locker. (She knew his locker combo.) 

“Let’s go head up to the library so I can finish my homework.” Jenna said. I nodded in agreement and we headed upstairs. 

Rocky P.O.V

My morning was awesome. Rydel made me a birthday breakfast and I was having a party tonight for my birthday. My dad dropped us at school and we headed towards our locker. 

“Whoa! Rocky check out your locker!” Rydel said. I rushed towards them and she was right! It looked and smelt amazing! I saw a kiss stained onto the wrapping paper. Yup Jenna did this. I smiled and opened up my locker. Inside was a small bag. 

I grabbed it and looked inside. I pulled out a box and opened it. Inside was an expensive watch! 

“Happy Birthday babe!.” A sweet voice said. I turned around and saw Jenna. “Jenna! How’d you-” She cut me off with a passionate kiss. I released from her lips before we got in trouble. 

“Don’t worry about it.” She said. I nodded and put the watch on. “Thanks.” I said. I pecked her on the lips and looked at my locker again. “How’d you do all of this?” Rydel asked. “I helped!” Melody cheered. 

I smiled and gave her a hug. “Well thank you!” I said. 

*Lunch Time*

Joelle P.O.V

It seems as if everything is back to normal. We watched as Rocky opened gifts for his birthday. This was too perfect. While he was opening gifts I thought of an interesting question.

“Hey Melody. The Moonlight Jam is coming up in like 3 weeks. What are you going to sing?” I asked. “HOLY CRAP! Three weeks!” She yelled. 

“You forgot?” Ross asked. “Yes! I don’t even have a song!” She yelled. “I thought you already wrote one.” Jenna said. “Well I did, but it’s kinda about how Ross broke my heart and well we’re dating now.” Melody said. “Oh Awkward.” Ratliff said.

“Then why don’t you and Ross do a duet?” I asked. “As much as I want to he already wrote a song.” Melody said. “Yeah, it’s called Heard it On the Radio. And I am happy to say that Mrs.Benson is allowing R5 to perform with me!” He said. 

Every one at the table cheered. 

Ross P.O.V

I looked over at Melody who was stressed out. I put my arm around her waist. 

“Don’t worry babe. I’ll help you.” I said. She looked up at me and kissed my nose. “Thanks but I think I got it.” She replied. 

Even though she said she didn’t need halp the Moonlight jam as in 3 weeks and the winner gets a record deal plus 3 million dollars. I wanted her to win badly. 

I just hope Melody knows what she’s doing.
