Chapter Nineteen

*Lunch* 

Jenna P.O.V

“So Melody did you come up with a new song in Music class?” I asked. Her and Ross looked at each other and smiled. She looked back at me and said yes. 

“Anyways what is R5 going to wear at the Moonlight Jam?” I asked. “Tutu’s!” Rydel said. “NO!” Ratliff yelled. “Okay fine how about we all wear the same color?” Rydel asked. “Let’s wear yellow!” Ross exclaimed. “Fine, but I’m wearing my green converse!” Rocky said. I laughed. 

Lunch was over and Rocky and I walked to English class. 

Rocky P.O.V

It was english class and Jenna and I were partners for studying. I sat down next to her. 

“Okay, we really need to study this time.” She said. “Jenna, I want to thank you for my birthday present but you didn’t have to get me anything.” I said. “I know but I thought you deserved something.” She replied. 

“Jenna right now your all I need. I don’t need anything else.” She looked into my eyes and I leaned in and kissed her. 

“ROCKY LYNCH!” the teacher yelled. I released from Jenna lips. “Umm.. yes.” I said. “After school detention!” She yelled. “Okay.” I replied. 

Jenna started giggling. “Would you like detention too Jenna?” The teacher asked. “Ummm…” Jenna looked at me and pulled me in for a kiss. All the students in the class said “Woo!” She finally released me and looked back at the teacher. 

“I guess that answers your question.” She smiled with a smirk. “Principal office. NOW!” The teacher yelled. Jenna packed her stuff. “Bad ass.” I said. “Oh you know it.” She winked at me and left the room. 

Gosh I love Jenna!

*Science Class* 

Ross P.O.V 

Melody and I were the first ones done to finish our assignment as usual. I was happy about our make out session int he orchestra room. 

“So, do you want to practice the song-” I was interrupted bu the announcements. 

“Good Afternoon my fellow students and staff! This is principal Goodwin. I would like to point out that the money for the new instruments has been stolen. Until someone steps forward about the money I am cancelling the Moonlight Jam! If anyone has any information about the money please forward the message to me.”  

The annoucentments ended and all the students were mumbling about the stolen money.

“Who on earth would steal money for the instruments?” Melody asked. “Melody, the money had at least 3 thousand dollars. I think someone would steal it.” I said. “That’s stupid. I mean who would to that?”

*After School*

Rocky P.O.V

I walked into the detention room and saw Jenna sitting all the way in the back of the room. I decided to sit beside her.

“Nope Mr.Lynch you are sitting up here.” Mrs. Benson said. I rolled my eyes and sat all the way in the front. Yup this was going to be a long detention.

Melody P.O.V

I was at my house with Ross, Rydel, Jordan, and my dad.

“Do you guys want any snacks? Drinks?” My dad asked. “No dad we’re good.” I replied. “Speak for your self! I’m starving!” Ross exclaimed. He ran into the kitchen and grabbed some chips and soda. Then hurried back

“I can’t believe someone stole the money for the new instruments!” Rydel exclaimed. “What happened?” My dad asked. “Our principal made an announcement about money being stolen.” I said. “Yeah and until someone steps forward about it he’s cancelling the Moonlight Jam!” Jordan said. 

“That’s terrible. What person does that?” My dad asked. “Mean, selfish people.” Rydel replied. “Let’s just get back to our homework.” I said. 

Mr.Goodwin P.O.V 

I can’t believe one of my students stole money! This is an outrage! I was sitting in my desk sorting papers for the PTA meeting when a I saw a note being slipped under the door frame of my office. 

I walked towards the note and picked it up and opened it. It read:

“I know who stole the money for the instruments. Check Melody Velez’s locker.” -Anonymous
