Chapter 1

Marshal didn't have any plans today. He was going to go with Fionna and Cake to the treehouse for a Jam session, but they had gone adventuring so he had nothing to do. He thought about going to visit Lumpy space prince but the drama bombs would be overwhelming. So he headed out to candy kingdom.

When He arrived, Peppermint Maid stopped him at the gate.

"Prince Gumball is busy right now," she was obviously lying. Today was his day off "Can I tell him something for you?"

Marshal glared at her, "No I'll tell him myself later."

"Alright sir..." she didn't seem happy with this plan

"Alright."

Marshal didn't feel like waiting so he walked out of the gates and didn't stop until he thought he had convinced Peppermint Maid he was leaving, then he turned around and flew to Gumballs balcony and knocked on the door.

"Yes? Oh! Marshal! I was just thinking of coming to visit you! What a coincidence!

Marshal looked at him longingly. He knew he could never have him, but he wouldn't lose hope.

"What is it?"

"Uh... nothing, sorry."

"Haha it's cool Marsh." He smiled a genuine, Gumball smile.

*knock knock* "Prince?"

"One moment Peppermint Maid!" He shouted then lowered his voice to a whisper "Quickly into the closet."

Marshal rushed into the princes closet, and watched through a crack in the door.

"What is it Peppermint?" He asks as he opens the door.

"That Vampire whopped by, I told him you were busy."

He smiled "Next time you can let him in Peppermint! He's not a threat so don't worry."

Marshal felt a warmth spread through his cheeks.

Peppermint looked at him odd, "Yes your highness." She slowly turned and left the room. Prince Gumball listened until he could no longer hear her footsteps.

"Okay you can come out now."

"Thank God, it was getting hot in there." He smiled and stepped out.

"Haha sorry man."

"No worries. So how did it go with Fionna?"

"What do you mean?"

"You said you were going to ask her out... what did she say?"

"Oh I didn't ask her, I fell hard for someone else..." he blushed

Marshals stomach lurched
"Who is it?"

Gumball straitened himself...
"I can't tell you that." His face turning an even deeper shade of pink.

"Awe, hell, why not?

"Because you'd probably never talk to me again." He looked down and smiled, trying to hide in his hair.

"Whoooooo is itttttt?!?!" ge made his best puppy face and stared at Gumball unrelenting.

Gumball blushed and stared back at Marshal, "It's you..."

Marshal dipped his hands around Gumballs face, leaned in, and kissed him. A full kiss.

Gumball pulled away gently and smiled.

Marshal blushed and looked down, his dark hair falling into his face.

Gumball tried to pull Marshal in for a hug, but Marshal pulled him onto his lap, put his hand on the back of his head and pressed his lips onto his own.
Gumball pulled away after a few seconds and spoke.

I have to take a shower, don't come into the bathroom....PLEASE!!!!

He looked sternly at Marshal, knowing his inappropriate tendencies

"But what if I need to go to the restroom?"

"Then just hold it!" he said impatiently. His hair was so greasy it hurt.

"But what if I cant?" Now he was just being annoying.

"Then use the facilities in your own cave. Gosh. Now let me take a shower." He turned and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.
