The snow hit the sidewalk, the leaves crunch under moving feet. Snow was rare in the busy city of Hollywood but hey, anything could happen. Tyler was making his way to a meeting with an old friend. Tyler looked around the city where most of the famous actors, singers, just even people that are really well known lived. In the time he passed by, he saw the crowded laughing masses as they crossed the street. The way the taxis pulled over and how the other cars would speed on by. He noticed and he could feel the energy that everything he saw as walked by. He entered the small cafe and looked for Andy.
That was the person who he’s fell in love with. No one knew of course, it was uncommon for a boy to fall in love with another boy. He couldn't help it, though. Tyler walked towards to the resembled an older version of Andy.
“Andy?” He raised his eyebrow and watched the other looked up. Andy broke into a huge smile.
“Oh my gosh, Tyler!” Andy got up from where he was sitting and he pulled Tyler into a big hug. It was a reunion between the two but it felt more nerve wracking. Tyler had been in an accident that cost him his memory. Andy knew that Tyler had liked him in the past but never acted on it. In the past, he would tense up and pushed his feelings aside. Tyler and Andy Liszt contact of each other after the graduation of their high school years. Tyler was a writer, and a singer.
Andy was also a writer but he would not publish anything. He wrote for himself and that made him happy. He worked at this particular café as a part time job to scrape on by. Maybe in this reunion with Tyler, he could him remember. Andy wanted to get the time to help. He thought it would not only help himself but Tyler as well.
All these thoughts ran through his head as he was hugged by Tyler. They both sat down and Andy showed him the photos they had together, the memories they shared and he would tell Tyler how he used to act around him. The butterflies in his stomach fluttered around frantically as he saw recognition register in Tyler's eyes. Tyler hung onto every word and by the end of the late night rush, Tyler knew more of himself. He noticed how everything Andy did, intrigued him.
Before they knew it, the symptoms of the old desire, they filled Tyler and Andy both. The desire for the love of each other.
“I love you.”
That one simple phrase filled both of their hearts.
