Was he joking? three hundred people? Didn't he understand how many lives that was? Or did it seem like such a small number to him?Ah Rin didn't seem as phased by the large number as I had been. Neither anyone around him. He was asking for slaughter, a massacre. And he didn't even flinch whilst saying it.
"Why ask me?" She then said calmly, her time sharp. "Why not Reniji? Or X?"
X? I gulped.
"Well, you know how it is" Glutteinhiv said with a wide, toothy grin. "Not everyone these days can be trusted. And you know as well as I do that Reniji is a Hitman - one target, no matter who, he can get. But a whole bunch? Genocide is a thing only few can accomplish on their own."
I felt myself pale. Genocide?
"And" he continued. "X is...busy. And he's not as...nice as you are."
"I guess this would be for your own personal gain?" She gritted.
He chuckled, moving in the lounge and making it groan alarmingly loud. "Oh yes. Very much so. Business is hard these days. Lots of competition."
"Wouldn't you look suspicious? Hm?" She then said as she lightly tugged at my leash. "I thought you'd be smarter than that. Killing all of the board members as well as their staff, as I presume that's who the targets are."
"I'm not an idiot, my love" he crooned. "I have everything already sorted. I've hired a desperate actor to play the part of 'terrorist', and he'll track the attention whilst you do the killing."
She sighed then, her shoulders slumping. "How much?"
Oh my god. She was really considering it...?
"How about....four billion won?" He grinned.
I widened my eyes, staring up at Ah Rin as her hard eyes were on his. The smile on her mask gave me a creepy vibe, and I wondered what her expression was beneath it.
"Huh" she then said. "Not much."
What the...? Not much? Not much?!
He seemed bristled by that too, and he groaned and leaned forward, giving her a harsh glare behind his glasses. "That's a lot more than I'd normally give. Don't brush off such amount."
"I'm not too interested in money" she then spat. "The bowl gives me enough."
What was this bowl? It didn't make any sense, and it's name didn't even hint at what it could of been.
Suddenly, something dark passed over Glutteinhiv's eyes, and he stroked a hand over one of his large, diamond rings on his fat fingers. "It would be a shame if...someone you loved so much...were to...I don't know, maybe...die..." he grinned.
"You didn't kill Jin" she growled at him. I felt the darkness, the aggression and anger that was right behind her lips, wanting to break free and rip his skin from his bone. "I know who did, you piece of shit. You're too cowardly to do such thing. You're too scared of me to cross me, because you're the most pitiful and disgusting blob of fat I've ever seen.
His eyes looked up to the girls that surrounded him, all of them looking his way with their fully black eyes. He growled and turned back to Ah Rin, his knuckles turning white as he gripped the bottom of the lounge. "Ah, got me there" he gritted. Then with his thick lips, he looked over me, with that same hungry look that made me shiver. "Woo" he then said. "Come here."
Woo did as he was told, coming to his side and crawling up onto his lap, arcing his back as he straddled the fat mans lap, quite a horrific sight. Gluttienhiv whispered something to him, stroking the boys arm, which made me shiver.
