|Twenty Three|
I was panicked. And I had to tell my dad. I only got home yesterday, but dad had been out all night on shift. So I had been waiting until after school, and now I was ready to talk to him about what Hyung Ki had said to me.
"Mom?!" I exclaimed as I burst through the door. "Do you know where dad..."
I heard sobbing. Absolute heart breaking sobbing.
"Ye-Jin?" Came my mother quiet voice, and I walked into the kitchen to see her crouched on the floor, holding the sobbing Naehi.
I dropped my school bag. Eyes wide. Body frozen. My mother had tears in her eyes, her face puffed from tears. Naehi was trembling violently, her sobs loud and making my ears ache.
"W..what...?" I murmured, confused and not under what had happened.
"Ye-Jin..." my mother said softly, reaching a hand out towards me.
Slowly, I walked towards her and dropped to my knees, on the other side of the sobbing Naehi. I softly linked hands with her, and her trembling hands and painful grip made my heart race.
"...Kinyeo..." she murmured softly. "Kinyeo is dead..."
I felt as if my whole world shifted. "N-no..."
"He was shot..." she murmured. "And there was a massive break out from the asylum..."
No...
"W-who did it..?" I murmured softly.
"It was her" Naehi then said, and I bristled as I hadn't expected her to talk. "I-it was...it was Do-Yoons...h-his mother..."
Hyung...Ki...
It was my fault. It was my fault he was dead. Kinyeo, the fiancé to my older sister, dead. Who was going to run the asylum now? What was going to happen? Ki had been released onto the streets. Any scrap of remorse and sympathy I had for her evaporated into the air as my anger boiled.
"What's going to happen..?" I asked as tears formed in my own eyes.
"They took it" Naehi then sniffed as her shoulders shook. "As if it was planned. They took the fucking role themselves...everything Kinyeo worked for, sacrificed for..."
"Who?" I asked softly, putting a hand to my mouth as I tried to control my own emotions. "W-who...?"
She sniffled, before she sighed and bit her lip. Her brown hair was atrocious, her eyes and face red from tears. "I-I don't know...I was in a meeting a day about it who the role and will would pass onto...and he was slightly older...w-with black hair and unnaturally blue eyes...and pastel purple suit..."
I didn't know what to say, I didn't know who that was, but my anger was boiling, growing. Aimed at who, I didn't know. But this anger - it inflamed everything. Seeing my older sister - my strong, confident and resilient older sister - crippled with uncontainable sobs...
I stood and punched the wall with a cry of frustration. Do-Yoon was missing - taken - by Jang Ah Rin, and now, his mother was on the loose. A psychopathic killer...
"She's going to die" I gritted as I dug my nails into my palms. "Jang Ah Rin..."

The windows were tinted so I didn't know where I was. I merely sighed as I looked out at the view which was nothing but a dark black void as the tint obscured my view.
"We're here Sir" said Kim Jong-Eun's assistant - Seokchu - from he front.
I had one glass of red wine. But I wouldn't have any more. I knew my limits. And I knew what would send me over the edge. I would be lying if I said that it wasn't some really good wine. We chatted idly, but I couldn't take my mind from Ah Rin.
