The past month has been rather fast.
Richie Tozier has finally gotten his life back on track. Mostly. His anti-depressants have finally been given to him. The shoebox full of his quite large supply of drugs has been long gone, now eating a little more often than before. Richie has mended his friendship with the Losers, deciding to just forget anything happened, and he's become especially close to the one and only Eddie Kaspbrak. He's happy.
Eddie got his fucking house back. He had to convince his mom he was straight, though. But, that doesn't stop the joy planted in his life. Richie Tozier has put an extra delightful twist in his life with the snarky comments, hilarious jokes, amazing kisses. Eddie was starting to think he was in love.
The two lay on Richie's bed, holding hands, and Richie finds it a little shocking he tried killing himself not that long ago.
"Are you sure your mom's not coming home anytime soon?" Eddie asks Richie, paranoid that Maggie Tozier will tell his horrible mother of the two boys' bond.
"Nah, we're good," Richie replies gently. He sits up and takes his enormous glasses off of his face so his face could be closer to Eddie's.
The two stare into each other's eyes for what seems like an eternity.
"Are you my boyfriend?" Eddie asks, making Richie chuckle. "Like, we've been together for a month, it should be time, right?" Richie nods.
"Of course." He gives Eddie a quick kiss on the forehead. He closes his eyes because he doesn't want to see Eddie when he can't see his beauty clearly. He just imagines him in his mind.
Eddie looks over at Richie's dresser and notices a small piece of paper behind it.
"What's that?" He asks him, pointing to it. As Richie puts his glasses back on, Eddie notices he suddenly got nervous.
"N-nothing." He takes his glasses off and gives his boyfriend a kiss. Eddie decides he should drop it, like he did when he wouldn't get the answer to what the drama was all about back before he was a member.
They lay together staring into each other's eyes, chatting about small things for a whole hour more when Eddie remembers his mother's strict curfew.
"Shit!" He grunts as he quickly gets out of Richie's comforting grasp. "I have to go." Richie smiles at him, a side smile, the kind Eddie absolutely melts at.
"But of course," he replies in a British voice. "No bit of perfection can stay long." Eddie grins and walks toward the door.
"Bye," he whispers as he sees his new boyfriend lazily sprawled on the bed, glasses in his hand. He gets up and gives Eddie a last kiss before he has to go.
"Bye," he whispers in Eddie's hair. Eddie leaves the room grinning and walks home. He is immediatly greeted by his horrible mother.
"Eddie Bear! You are two minutes late!" She shrieks. Eddie has given up a long time ago, so he says nothing.
"Well, I'm leaving for work again. The laundromat called and Gary called sick on the last minute. Will you be okay here alone?" He nods and she walks past him to the front door, her purse in her hand along with her keys.
"Bye, Eddie Bear." Eddie is left alone in his house, and he knows her shift will last a long time because of Gary calling sick before. He decides to call the Losers so he won't be so alone.
He calls Bev who is with Ben that also got the message, Stan and Bill in the same phone call (how has he not noticed these two boys being so close?), Mike, and Richie, his boyfriend.
Sitting on the musty yellow couch, Eddie waits for his friends, and boyfriend, to show up. Bev and Ben show up, followed by Stan and Bill. Mike and Richie show up at the same time.
"Eds," Richie whispers into his ear, making Eddie blush. Everyone sits down and Richie realizes how easily they make themselves at home. Richie is back as a member, but he still feels left out from the time they have spent apart.
"You okay, Eddie?" Bev asks. Ben sits particularly close to her.
"Yeah, my mom left and I wanted some company," he responded. Mike looks through the collection of movies stored in the cabinet under the twenty-two inch tv.
They finally decide on Ghostbusters, and all huddle closely on the couch. Richie lays on the left end of the couch, Eddie curled up in the bony boy's body. Beverly smiles at the two, covering it with her hand. She loves when people rely on her to keep their secrets.
A long while later, the movie is finished, the theme song flooding the room with credits that you have to squint to see. Richie has fallen asleep while hugging the boy in his arms, still holding tightly.
Stan decides it to be a good idea to tackle the sleeping boy, causing him to sleepily shout a slur of cuss words.
"Fuck! Oh my God!" Richie yells, his voice cracking, causing everybody into a fit of laughter, as he is dragged to the ground. Eddie still lays on the couch, holding Richie's glasses so they don't break. Laughing, Beverly walks over to the absent area where Richie was laying while the two boys fight.
"Asshole! I was having a dream!" Richie throws a playful punch at Stan, and the two wrestle around for a few minutes.
They finally settle down, and Richie nudges Bev so he can have his old spot back. When everyone finishes laughing, Eddie speaks up.
"What if we went away?" Everybody stares at him curiously, Richie dragging Eddie's hand down to hold it secretly.
"Like, ran away?" Bev asks. Eddie shakes his head, now feeling suddenly stupid.
"No, I mean, like, let's just stop what we're doing and go find a motel somewhere, spend a few days there. It'll be fun." The Losers murmur agreements, looking at one another.
"Let's do it!" Richie shouts.
Idk about the no POV, should I do it again?
Idk
Also, do y'all get annoyed when I do an ending author's note (or whatever you wanna call this)?
