"OK Kit! You are always right!HAPPY?"Kai screamed waving his hand in the hair as a form of surrender. Usually, I appreciated his sarcasm but right now it was really getting on my nerves."Stop doing that. I'm not the villain here okay!"I returned back his rudeness."I should have known that dating a whiny drama queen would eventually lead to this! Will, I ever learn," he sends word piercing through my heart, hurting me. I blinked back the tears that were threatening to spill."OK FINE! I think we need to take a break" I muttered indignantly as I slowly backed away trying to strengthen out my thought. Me, being a sucker for Rom-com, half expected him to apologize acting out a typical Korean drama scene. Instead...

"That's completely fine with me. At least now you can hang out with your replacement boyfriends right," he replied forcing a laugh, "tell Marcus I said hi".Before I could actually analyse the situation, I was storming out the door with my cheeks stung with the salty tearing flowing from my eyes.

1 WEEK LATER

"Oh my gawd guys, that plot twist literally killed me!"Kelly rambled on while emptying out the remaining popcorn. Justin had started blabbering in reply. Despite being totally uninterested in the movie, I nodded like a puppet to just show that I was not sleeping. It had been 7 days since we talked, texted or called. Even during lesson time, Kai had completely avoided eye contact with me. In return, I blocked and unblocked his number numerous times, venting my anger by writing down nonsense in my bio worksheet and so on. But being an egoistic and grumpy teen, I refused to make the first move. Secretly I knew I hated the fact that he had started treating me like every other student, like a stranger. I missed his crooked smile and his caring touch. But the words he threw at me were repeating like a broken recorder every single time I caught a glimpse at him, shattering my heart more.

"Shoot! Guys look at Mr Lim and his girlfriend" Marcus whistled. My head shot up to be disappointed by the sight of another girl clinging onto to my boyfriend's arms. Well, ex-boyfriend...

"Hey, Mr Lim..."Justin dragged on .Kai started blushing upon seeing us,clearly shocked."Oh Kai who are these kids"the lady beside him giggled out her words flirtatiously."Ally these are my.. students from school"he stammered back not even looking at me."Ok bye Mr Lim!,we don't wanna disturb you date" Kelly replied back with a suggestive eyebrow lift as we left the place.Even as I was walking I could hear her rambling on.She was definitely beautiful in a grown up way.Her makeup was barely noticeable with the exception of her bright red lipstick.Any guy would be attracted to her, I Guess that guy had to be my ex-Boyfriend.

I saw him again, while we were having dinner at Pastamania.None of my friends actually paid attention to me staring at him,trying to analyse their moves cause they were too absorbed into the conversation."Oh Katherine, I think you have something on your Chin," Marcus who was seated beside me ,lifted their napkin to wipe a small bit of sauce from my Chin.Thats when I felt his gaze on me.If looks could burn holes, Kai's would have burned one right on Marcus'a forehead.For the next few minutes, I had all of his attention with him mindless nodding to his lady friends.Just when I couldn't take it anymore , I received a text.
"Meet me in the toilet"

I quickly excused myself to the unisex toilets with Kai stumbling behind me pushing me to one the handicap stalls instantly locking the door behind him.His eyes were really dark lacking the comfort he used to have.A sudden urge forced me to pull him into a tight hug."Kai,Im sorry-" before I could finish my sentence, I felt his lips against mine, tougher than usual.His hands cupped my face, trying to bring me closer.Even in the state of shock, i could sense the ocean of emotions he was trying to convey.Relief, jealousy, anger and so much more.As soon as his lips parted away from mine, he quickly turned away refusing to look at me.
"Kit, you don't have to do this if you don't want to.Im not a Monster or anything, I'm not gonna force you into kissing me or even being with me" he sounded genuinely hurt ,his hand reaching for the handle.In a blink of an eye ,i tiptoed to reach for his lips again,surprised by this sudden of energy I felt.I kissed him as hard as I could ,tugging on his hair, which I'm pretty sure would leave a mark later.As the energy slowly drained away, I slowly parted my lips to face Kai with a goofy smile.
"Still want me to prove I love you ?"I replied smiling like a dork. " Now hurry up and continue flirting with Ally before I change my mind" I muttered pushing him out.
