Chapter 1

I woke up to a beautiful scene, birds chirping in the crisp winter air and my window slightly cracked. I turned over on my bed to see the clock.

I closed my eyes only to open them again in shock and yell, "AHH IM LATE AGAIN!"

I jumped out of bed cursing at myself for staying up all night practicing for this years first soccer tryouts.

I rushed to get ready I almost didn't notice I ran out of the house without my phone and my duffel bag! I grabbed everything and kissed my dad's picture before leaving the house yet again. I ran down the street not stopping for a whole two blocks.

Luckily I lived within the area of school so I didn't have to die trying to catch those murderous buses.

I stood outside the gate contemplating whether or not to go in and be scolded by the assistant principal again and get physical punishment or to have someone cause a distraction and sneak in through the class window. Again...

"Distraction it is."

I ran around the school to Junior A class to get some of my friends to help me out.

When I looked in on the classroom I saw Mr. Yu our assistant principal standing near my teacher. "How the hell am I supposed to get I'm now!"

I grabbed my phone and texted Kris. "I'm late again. Look out the window. Get the guys to make a distraction. Get Yu out now! Signal me when the coast is clear."

Mr. Yu was talking to the class when Kris looked at his phone and looked at me. He shook his head and smirked and signaled the guys that I was here again. They all snickered and laughed with no sound at me.

I flicked them off and mouthed, "It's crunch time! Hurry!" Mr. Yu looked out the window to see what the boys were looking at and he said loudly, "Pay attention! It's bad enough that Ms. Jung isn't here! If she wasn't one of the most intelligent students in the school I'd kick her out for insubordination!"

I laughed at how he couldn't even bare to lose me, the prize of the academics and athleticism of this school.

Kris gave me a wink and suddenly stood up and fainted. Xuimin pretended to be scared shitless and yell at Mr. Yu to get the school nurse or to help him carry Kris out.

The way Mr. Yu reacted was priceless he turned blue and helped Xuimin without question. Mrs. Kim our teacher knew my routine but didn't mind my lateness. In fact she helped when Yu would punish me.

As soon as Yu left she opened the window and the guys pulled me in. I fell on the floor and said, "That was close." Suho yelled and said, "Yah! Stop being late. You ruin the classes reputation when you get in trouble." I shrugged my shoulders and just laughed. So did the others.

After 10 minutes Kris and Xuimin came back with big grins and gave me an okay. Kris said, "When we got there I magically regained consciousness and Mr. Yu went back to his office." I smiled and said, "What would I do without my best friends?"

Xuimin said, "You'd be EXPELLED!" I laughed and nodded. Suho then slyly said, "You should be." I turned around and said, "Put a sock in it old lady."

As you can see I am the only girl in the class besides Ms. Kim. I don't always get along with the rest of the guys, especially Suho, Kai, and Chen. Everyone but Kris and Xuimin that is.
