CHAPTER 5

CAN’S POV

All I can say is Pete really did spoiled me these past days. I still pretend that I am upset with him though and he still keeps on pacifying me.

Why?~ I like it! I have free meal everyday because of it. Haha!

It is only 7 in the morning but since we have a morning practice, here we are now at the field showering with sweat! Urrgghh! I am so hungry right now!!

I kicked a couple of times before running towards my favorite captain, P’No. “P’No!~”

P’Type and P’Champ chuckled beside him. “There he is No, Your favorite junior is here. “

“Haha, yeah I wonder why~…” P’No just scratched his head. I smiled widely and grabbed his right arm.

“P’No.. We have been practicing so early these days.. I am so hungry right now!! You should take some responsibility!”

“And there goes your sanity.. hahahaha” My two other seniors laughed beside P’No . P’No smacked me on the head using his other hand.

“We only began our practice 15 minutes ago, and you are saying you’re already hungry?? Huh?? Huh??” P’No tucked my head on his arms and ruffled my hair.

We were playing around when my eyes caught something.

I saw my renowned best friend peeping like a crazy stalker besides the entrance of the field. Oohhh I know that he wasn’t looking at his ‘loyal’ best friend but at his knight in shining armor. Haayyssss.. things that people can really do when it comes to love.

I just shaked my head and excused myself to my senior. I got back on my practice while alternately looking at Pete and Ae.

I scratched my head in irritation. Oh these two really!! No, just my friend only! Now my guilt’s eating me..

Should I help Pete again????

Ohh crap! Fine! I’ll help him again with his stupid letter.  Tsk.. tsk.. why am I his friend again??

PETE’S POV

I took a deep sigh before throwing a last glance at the gorgeous guy in the field. I missed him, though literally I was a total stranger to him. But, I admit, I feel a little attachment to him whenever I thought that my letters were reaching to him and he was reading it.

But what can I do?? It’s not like I can force Can to help me. I couldn’t even brought up any topic connected to Ae to him! I am doomed.

I left the field with heavy steps. I put my hand on my pocket and I touched an envelope inside of it. I sighed once again.

I guess this letter won’t be delivered any sooner.

LUNCHBREAK…  Can and i were eating at the canteen. Yes, now I am used at eating here after takin several meals here. It is more convenient since this is within the campus and the foods were much cheaper! Haha.

“Ohhhh…. You’re eating a lot!” I just smiled at Can’s teasing.

“Eherm” Can cleared his throat as if he would like to say something. I looked at him, telling him to say whatever he wants.

“Later… After our classes for today, let’s go to that place.” He said with his eyes on his food.

“What?? Where??”

He sharpened his eyes and look at me.”Aish. At that place! In front of the engineering faculty! At the bike’s parking space!! There! I said it!!”

My eyes widened in joy and jumped at him. OHH!! My best friend is really the best!!

“Yey!! Thank you best! I love you!!”
