Nebula stared at the dark gray stone wall. She was still in her nest when Swift~jem can in. "Nebula you should be getting ready for school." Swift-jem Said. "I don't want to go!" Nebula complained. Swift~jem was taken by surprise. Nebula almost never complained about, well, anything! "What's wrong Nebula?" Swift~jem sat next to her. "First mom now Alex.."
"Well, your dad is still alive! You should be happy for that shouldn't you?" Nebula was happy that her dad survived. She just missed the others who didn't. "Do you really want to skip school today?" Swift~jem Asked. Nebula was very upset. But she didn't want to miss any extra learning. Besides, the sooner she impressed Wind~cloud the sooner she could get a day off school. Nebula wanted to impress her, and she wanted to make it a goal. And a tough challenge to do. Nebula sat up finally. "I'll go." She said.
"Alright! Well, breakfast is in the den." Swift~jem replied.
Soon Nebula was at the pup school. Time passed and for the whole day, all Nebula seemed to think about was, where is Alex now? Soon it was the last class. Nebula tried and tried to impress Wind~cloud. In fact, Nebula answered almost every question. And all where correct. Nebula only skipped two questions. And all she got was "good.." "nice job." "Okay.." What a disappointment...
After school Nebula started to walk back to her den. "Hey, Nebula!" Liza called. Nebula swirled around to face Liza. Liza started to look confused. "Wait! Where is Alex!?" Liza Asked. Nebula's eyes turned dull. "You okay?" Liza Asked. Why would you care? "Why?" Nebula Asked. "Your eyes look kinda... Different." Liza said as she tilted her head. Nebula opened her eyes a little wider. Different? How? "Never mind! Just, tell where Alex is." "He is gone. He left." Nebula said plainly. Nebula turned around and bounded away. "Gone? Where is he! Nebula?!" Liza called. But by the time she finished her sentence, Nebula already was out of sight...
