Marcus Cornellius

"Marcus please tell you have found out something at least..." Ambassador Flint said as his presence emanated from a holographic display glass along with other Ambassadors from other countries. The meeting I so greatly feared had finally arrived and even though they were miles away from me, it felt like I was being put into trial by these power hungry conniving clowns in my own damn office.

"Ambassadors... unfortunately we have found out so far that some foul play was involved in this incident. Unfortunately we haven't been able to find a culprit." I said as Ambassador Flint covered his head from the frustration as he read a report file.

"This has caused a tremendous problem within our staff Prince... I hope you do understand that this problem will not go unnoticed unlike last time..." Sir Duncan said calmly before lighting a cigar. I never did like that old bastard, let it be him being a English lapdog or just for the fact that I never lived up to his expectations. That man was the last person I would like to see in my presence.

"I understand Sir Duncan... but I need more time to make a complete investigation."

"The investigation can take weeks, even months if we do not focus on this. Sir Flint I believe that the empire can assist you on this if your government accepts." Ambassador Agrippa said staring at a disappointed and stressed out Ambassador Flint.

"... I will have to talk to the president about this... knowing him, he will accept but the senate is another story given the recent concerns over a certain... group of the population." Ambassador Flint said standing up once more.

"I'd recommend that you rounded up the usual suspects, they are nothing but rabble and easily led to anger..." Ambassador Agrippa said after scoffing at his statement.

"With all due respect Ambassador Agrippa, they are people as well and may I remind you such actions will cause a crisis upon you and your countrymen." Ambassador Santiago said giving Agrippa a sharp glare.

"Oh please, your country is being an ocean away and bogged down in the wildlands. What can you possibly do to intervene?" Ambassador Agrippa asked staring at the young ambassador rather arrogantly.

"...May I remind you Agrippa... All it takes to bring you to your knees is the might of the royal navy... Do not expect that the people of Albion are in favor of such an atrocious crime committed by such... savages..." Sir Duncan said looking down upon Agrippa as if he was a mere insect.

"Gentlemen, that is enough of this bickering! We must focus the at the task at hand!" Ambassador Delacroix said rather agitated before she took a deep breath.

"Finally, some common sense..." Ambassador Santiago said frustrated.

"... General... Is there any information that you can provide us so our people can stop speculating...? There are people already accusing other governments as the perpetrator." Ambassador Volkov asked as he sat with his tired eyes staring directly into mine. There could have been a battle around him, but he would never avert his eyes if you had his attention.

"All that we know is that some group of wildlanders have managed to infiltrate into the country. They just could just be immigrants trying to find a way in for a better life or worst  case scenario, we were infiltrated by saboteurs who used that crisis as a diversion. We honestly do not have a clue of what these people might be doing at this moment." I said as the Ambassadors remained quiet for a few seconds after I spoke taking in the information.

"...You have two weeks prince... that should give you enough time to come up with a hypothesis at least... many lives were lost in that exchange. Good thing that young chap dealt with the issue immediately." Sir Duncan said after a puff of his cigar.
