Ally ran through the forest as fast as she could, but the demon was already closing in on her. She let out a cry of despair as he cornered her with his tendrils, but screamed as one picked her up and slung her into pale hands.
"LET ME GO!" She cried. But it was no use. This thing had no intention to release her. The tendrils gripped her sides and squeezed, takimg the air from her lungs. He was going to give her a painful death.
Something suddenly grasped her head and spun Ally around, as if he was giving her the feeling of a merry-go-round. Blood leaked from the wounds she had gotten from the claws, clouding her vision.
At last, the young child felt herself fading. The world spun (after all, she was beimg slung around by a tendril) for a minute as the pain ate her around, and finally it all ended. She could see the man tearing out her insides as the world shifted into nothingness.
Ally woke up with a scream, her parents opening the door and running in. Her father hugged her close and asked her what happened.
"N-Nothing... I just had a nightmare. I can go back to sleep... I think."
"A nightmare?" Ally's mom said, blinking. "Ally, that's the fifth nightmare in a row!"
"Yes, mom, I know. But I can go back to sleep. Besides, it's..." The terrified girl looked at her clock. Giant red letters that showed 3:26 glowed on it. "...3:00 and I have school tomorrow!"
"Alright, get some sleep." Her parents left the room and turned off the light.
