Static filled Ferrin's ears as she stared into Negative's single, wide eye staring back at her, almost piercing into her soul. But Ferrin didn't let this bug her, for she was married to this monster who had stolen her heart in one single glance. Ferrin curled up closer into Negative's cozy, wide lap, his arms wrapped around her like vines, holding her securely. They both felt like if they were to let go of eachother, they'd never see the other again. Ferrin nuzzled her head into Negative's chest, feeling his odd, but comforting warmth covering her face as she breathed a contented sigh. Ferrin swore she heard Negative make a similar sound, with static surrounding it. Black ink smoothly flowed from the vents on the sides of Negative's tellyhead, evaporating before it could stain the ceiling. Ferrin did not know why, but whenever she was around Negative, she had this strange feeling in her heart, that she could not decipher. As she thought on about what to do about this, she got an idea. "I could ask Negative!" She thought. Negative always seemed to have the right answer for anything to Ferrin. It didn't matter what it was: fear, confidence, self defense, combat, etc. That was one thing Ferrin loved about him. She nonchalantly lifted her head off from Negative's chest and looked into his wide, unblinking, eye that stared back at her, with a look that Ferrin swore was a loving gaze that was directed at her. "Negative?" She finally spoke. "...Yes, my dear?" He replied, in a voice that sounded tough, but in a soft, loving manner, that was surrounded by heavy static. But Ferrin could understand him perfectly. "Every time that I'm around you, I get this strange feeling in my chest, it's in my heart. I don't know what this feeling is, but I can describe it like this. It's like my heart beating, except I can feel it without touching my chest. Do you know what this feeling is?" Ferrin explained to Negative, certain that he would understand. Negative put his finger to the bottom of his tellyhead, as if he was thinking. A few moments passed by until Negative stopped thinking and set his focus back on Ferrin. The lines of his eye curled upward, as if he was smiling at her. He slowly unwrapped his arms from Ferrin's figure as he reached for her delicate hands, softly grasping them with his smooth, silky dark grey gloves like if he was to make one wrong move, they would shatter into a million pieces, like a glass statue. He held the both of them, his silky, gloved fingers softly grazing over Ferrin's pale fingers. He looked directly into Ferrin's dark blue eyes. "...It's because, people always have different ways of feeling love, my dear. Especially when it comes to people who are as unique as you are. And you are unique, Ferrin. Especially you." Those last few sentences hit Ferrin like a truck, her face lit up brighter than the eye of a fear, who had just read what their prey was afraid of. She immediately broke down crying, she couldn't believe what her husband had just told her. Of course, he always had to flatter her at any time that was least expected. Negative immediately noticed Ferrin's reaction and didn't hesitate to comfort her to the best of his abilities. Seeing Ferrin upset or in pain from something was near torturous to Negative. He'd rather die than see Ferrin, or his adopted daughter, get hurt. Negative wrapped his arms around Ferrin like before, but more tighter, being careful not to crush his wife. "FERRIN ARE YOU OKAY OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE YOU UPSET I LOVE YOU I'M SO SORRY I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Negative said in a panicked tone of voice, it was nearly indistinguishable. Ferrin tried to wipe her tears of joy away with the oversized sleeve of her dark red sweater. Ferrin looked directly into Negative's tightly closed, anguished eye. "No, Negative! Don't worry! You didn't break me or anything!! You just.... I get emotional when somebody who's really close to me... Says stuff like that.. to me!" Ferrin explained to the hysterical tellyman. Upon hearing his wife's explanation, the tellyhead wiped the little bit of tears in his eye away, and looked at Ferrin, with a somewhat surprised look in his giant eye that covered his tv screen. "..What?!" Negative said, with a tone of surprise coating his voice. Ferrin looked at him, a little curious of the way Negative sounded. "What's wrong?" She asked him, without a clue as to why he's questioning her like this. Negative looked at Ferrin like she had gone insane. "Seriously?!?! Have you looked in the mirror at yourself?! Ferrin, you are the most gorgeous woman I have ever had the pleasure of gazing my eye upon! Why do you think I was SO SURE that I wanted to marry you right then and there? Because I can TELL a lot about a person because I have a sixth sense! I love you, with every inch of my heart!" Ferrin couldn't help but blush a bright red at what her husband had just told her. And for what felt like the first time in her life, she actually took those words to heart. Ferrin smiled warmly at Negative, "Thank you so much, Negative! I... really appreciate those words!" Ferrin confessed, feeling thankful for what her husband had told her. Negative gently gripped Ferrin's hands again. He slowly rose to his feet, lifting Ferrin up with him. "...Oh, it's really no problem, sweetheart..~❤️" Negative mused, static filling the air between the two newlyweds. Negative spread his arms out, as if asking for a hug. Ferrin openly accepted, and hugged her husband back. Negative wrapped his arms around his wife again, the both of them planning not to let the other go any time soon. As the both of them relished in eachother's warm embrace, they both thought, "It'd be amazing if we could stay like this forever."
