I woke up groggy-eyed. Huh? Where am I? Chains are cutting into my skin. "Ah, sleeping Beauty has awakened at last," my captor said sarcastically. Now I remember. "Yeah and where's my prince? You're obviously not him," I responded hoping it was a witty comeback. The man scowled at me and kept driving. I can't tell where we are because I have a blindfold on.

Wait, the caped man isn't caped anymore and he isn't wearing his sun glasses either, I noticed. "So darling, what's your secret?" He asked. "What do you mean 'secret'?" I asked suspiciously. "You know what I mean. You're a vampire, I know that. But somehow you're immune to sunlight," he told me.

I honestly didn't know how to reply to that. How am I able to be in sunlight? It shouldn't be possible now that I think about it. "I..... don't know," I say more to myself than to that weirdo. "Yeah right! I would be more than willing to kill you if you don't speak up. You've caused me a lot of trouble," he said.

I'm proud of that fact. I'm so exhausted and sore that I didn't even bother replying. "Are you ignoring me ,little girl?" he asked face turning red. "Your mother ignored you," I said. "She was a busy person," he said. Burnnnn.

He quits talking after he notices me smugly staring in his direction. We drove for hours on end. I needed a plan and I came up with one. "Ughhh! I'm gonna throw up!" I lie after a sharp turn. "Oh no you don't! I just got this baby, and you're not about to barf all over its seats," he hollered, swerving again.

I gagged loudly and dramatically. "Okay okay I'll pull over!" he banks to the left. He unlocked the door and yelled,"Get it over with." I stumbled out and ran for it.
