"Wake up dammit!!!" Someone yelled as a pillow collided with my face "what??" I said jolting awake, I looked at the clock. 1 am. I looked to see who interrupted my beauty sleep, at the foot of my bed there stood four potato like guys, also known as my brother and his band. "yes? Can I help you?" I growled, I love my sleep! They disturbed my favorite activity.
"So... who wants to ask?" Zack asked admiring my posters "ask what?" I said now curious.
"Do you want to come with us to warped?" Alex blurted out "frick yeah. When is it?" I asked. "Have you been living in a damn cave? How do you not know this? WE'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT ALL WEEK!" Flashbacks filled my mind of it being mentioned here and there but I mean... I wasn't paying attention.
"WELL! Our first show is tomorrow, obviously we asked you at very, very, VERY short notice. But let me explain, we figured you were going to have plans and you announced you didn't and then we had to discuss it of course, so it's a long process you see... So that's why we're here now! The last thing you need to know basically is that we have to be out of here by... 5 am" Jack said grinning. "To repay me you can make me pancakes and coffee, oh chocolate chip pancakes and extra cream in the coffee." I said sliding out of bed and towards my closet. "I'll be done in an hour to two, so go" I said pushing them out of the door.
"You're going to love it, Warped is always the best" Alex said from the doorway, holding my pancakes and coffee. "Eh, I don't know. I've never really been away from home, you know? I mean besides for that one camping trip we took two summers ago" a small smile grew onto my lips, it was a horrible trip but we were together. Most of the trip was spent looking for Jack who had ran off. "You'll be fine, just watch. Anyways, you finish up and if you want, we'll be in the back." I smiled at him and got back to packing.
