Darren's POV--
I was getting ready for a party at my friend's house. I was a freshman in high school here in Cali. My good friend Josh decided to throw an end of year party. I threw on a navy Vneck and jeans with my white sneakers. Before running out the door, I grabbed my guitar case and strapped it onto my back. My bikewas waiting on the front porch. Igot on, calling to my mom so she knew I was gone. I headed down the street to pick up my best friend, the girl I was madly in love with, Aubree. She was waiting on her bike, texting when I pulled up next to her.
"Hellooo!"- I yelled in her ear
"Jeezz Dare!! You scared me!!! Dont do that again!"- She said play slapping me and giggling
"I'm sorry, please forgive me?"- I said giving her puppy dog eyes
"I could never stay mad at you.."- she muttered getting off her bike to hug me
She looked gorgeous, she had on jean shorts with a peach crop top on. Her long caramel colored hair was curled with a matching peach headband in it and she had black sandals on. Her hazel eyes reflected her cheerfulness.
We arrived at Josh's house, putting our bikes on the porch and walking out back. Everyone in our class was there. I grabbed Aubrees hand, pulling her to our usual group. Josh, Zander, Damien, and Lola. I pulled my guitar off my back, sitting down with Aubree by my side. Aubree was one of the prettiest, nicest, smartest, and most popular girls in our year, so I was always watching out for those players that would ruin her. Damien was a player himself, always saying how he would get with Aubree.. He was always staring at her, at me with her..
The night was enjoyable, Aubree on my lap as I strummed my guitar, joking and teasing eachother. I want life to be like this forever.
