"Vlad! Your a live!" Thomas said when he came running into my room to see me.

"Yeah I know." I replied back happily, and then hugged my older brother.

"Nice to see you awake." My dad said as he came into the room, followed by my other older brothers Alex, Mihail, and Arsenie. As they came in, Arsenie happened to be holding balloons that read get well on them, as my dad noticed that I had seen them he commented, "Thomas insisted on getting these for you, also this came in the mail." Then he handed me a purple envelope that had our home address with my name written on it. When I opened the envelope, I found a black card with light, bright blue ink written on it. The moment that I saw the hand writing on the card I knew exactly who's it was, Mom. I kind of looked up at my dad with confusion not sure what to say. "Go on read it, it's for you, plus she said that she had to pull a couple of strings just to get this sent quickly." After he said that, I looked back down at the card and read it, it said...

I hope you are doing your best to stay out of trouble. Yes I know that I haven't kept in contact with you like I had promised. It's a bit shall I say complicated, anyways your sister and I are doing good. I will try in the future to talk to you more. Sweetie I love you so much, so please, please don't get yourself in trouble or hurt. Oh and please let your older siblings know that I love them and miss them too. - Mom <3

While reading this, I kind of started to tear up but then stopped. Then I looked up at my dad and said, "So why are all of you here?"

"To check on you. The doctor said that once you're done with your transfusion, and they know that you won't react to the blood they gave you, then you can go home latter today."

"Is that it?"

"No, we also wanted to know if you found out why the Lucas's put up the magic barrier at their house."

"Uh well it might sound very dumb."

"Why do you say that?"

"Because their daughter found a love note in her room, and the window was left open. Also I believe she mentioned that the window was closed the last time she was in the room, but the came back for something and found the note on her bed and the window left open."

"Seriously? That's it?"

"Yeah pretty much."

"Wow, John really is a paranoid person, I mean really do you have to put up a magic barrier just because a boy sneaked into your house to leave your daughter a love note?"

"Well would've the guy was in there for a really long time and tried to do something while he was inside the house."

"Vlad, don't try and make a point about the whole thing. It's just plan paranoia and you know it."

"Yeah I guess you're right, but you should know that he also installed a security system, locked all the doors and windows, and put in guard dogs."

"What!?" My dad and all my siblings yelled.

"You have got to be kidding me!" exclaimed my dad.

"I wish I was, but I'm not." I replied back.

"Ok now that is really paranoid, to the extreme." My dad said.

"Yeah I know."

"Well you know what?"

"What?"

"Once you get better, you and Thomas are going to go try and sneak into their house."

"Why?"

"Because I want to actually see if the alarm system works or not, and the best way is to have you and your brother sneak in."

"Ah dad? Why not have Mihail and I , or Arsenie to do it?" Alex said.

"Because you three are good at that. These two (Thomas and I) have not done it before and they need to learn how to." My dad replied.

"Hmm, good point."

"But dad I still don't get it, why do you want us to do this?" Thomas asked.

"Don't you get it, he wants you to spy on them." Mihail said rudely to Thomas.

"Your brother's right, that's actually what I want you to do." My dad said.

"But dad I don't want to -" And before I could finish what I was going to say, Kiku cam into the room along with a nurse. "Hello, sorry to interrupt. Just checking on things in here."

"Ok." I said.

"By the way Vlad, Luna hasn't been in here has she?"

"Uh no? Why do you ask?"

"Because she's not in her room, and also her parents haven't come to get her. Meaning she's wandering around somewhere in the hospital."

"Oh... Uh I don't know then, sorry."

"Ok, well then I must continue looking for her." After that he left the room.

"What the heck was that all about?" My dad said angrily to me.

"Oh, well the Lucas's daughter, Luna, has come in here a couple of times." I replied.

"What! Why was she in here?"

"Well the first time was that this was going to be her room but then they moved her to the room next door."

"Really?"

"Yeah, then the second time was that she wanted to ask me a question."

"What did she want to ask you?"

"Something very personal."

"Ok, then we'll find out about that later." Hearing this, made me really mad. Really mad, because my dad hardly ever let's me have anything personal or a secret, he has to know about ever thing. "Fine..., anyways the third time-"

"Wait, the third time?" Vlad you said she was in her only a couple of times, meaning that she came in here twice." My dad said.

"Oh, oops I meant to say more than two times."

*Sigh*" Honestly, that girl needs to know that she's messing with the wrong person. Vlad you need to show her that, got that."

"Ah... yeah I'll do that I guess."

"What do you mean you guess?" You will do it, do you want her to think your weak and easy to push around?"

"No."

"Then do it." But before I could say anything else, my older brother Alex said, "Dad someone has been spying on us."

"What!? Where?"

"There." Alex said as he pointed to a spot in the ceiling. When he did this, everyone in the room looked to see who it was. When I saw who it was my heart sank very fast, because it was Luna.
