Matchmaker - Les Misérables

Requested by Shannon1300. I'm sorry this took so long, school has been very hectic and stressful as of late.

You were sitting in your room, reading a book, when Cosette burst in, tears streaming down her face.
"Cosette, what's the matter?" you put your book down.
"Oh, (Y/N), I am in love with a revolutionary named Marius, but he loves Éponine," she says through tears. You pull her into a sympathetic hug.
"Who is Éponine?"
"The girl I was raised with."
"Oh, poor thing. I can go and talk to Marius and see what I can do," you say.
"Thank you."like

Later that day, you and Cosette are wandering around the streets of Paris. She points out Marius. He looks over and sees her and comes to talk. As he walks over, Cosette runs off.
"Hello, ma'am. I presume you are friends with Cosette," he says, "My name is Marius."
"My name is (Y/N), and yes, I am Cosette's friend."
"She seems sad."
"She is in love with you, and she is worried that you love someone else."
"She is... I did not know. I hoped she did," he says.

At that moment, Cosette and Éponine emerge from the shadows. Cosette looks happy, while Éponine looks angry and devastated.
"Why would you ask your friend to do that! We were happy, Cosette! Why wouldn't you let us be!" Éponine shouts.
"When we were growing up, you were the happy one! You had everything I needed and wanted and more! I deserve happiness as much as you do!" Cosette shouts.
"You had it all ever since Valjean took you away! We lost everything!" Éponine shouts.
"You had the best childhood imaginable for our circumstances! You knew your parents! You had everything! Let me have him!" Cosette shouts. Tears fill Éponine's eyes as she runs away. Cosette runs to Marius and they share a kiss.

"Thank you (Y/N)," Cosette says.
"You are my friend. I want to see you happy," you reply. As Marius and Cosette begins to talk, you head back home, happy that Cosette is happy.
