Wild rhythm that was coming behind us was loud enough to be heard miles down the empty sand beach. The ocean was quite tonight, almost motionless, reflecting the light of the full moon and millions of the stars who sparkled like diamonds on clear black midnight sky.
The breathtaking view wasn't the reason why we were here on the third floor balcony, instead of partying with the others inside. Aaron and Eric far more interesting right now... at least for "our little group".
Voices finished counting down and both of them drank another shot followed by loud shouts of support.
No one really counted anymore.
'Who will drink more' bet became 'Who will be the last one standing' half an hour ago, since neither one of them wanted to lose.
They didn't have a deal in what they're playing and it was wildly known that every one of us had a wicked mind.
Losing was not an option.
"Hey! Hey!" Jared pushed Aaron back on his feat when he started losing the balance. "Don't make me lose this bet man, OK? Screw the 100$, the Kid won't leave me alone if he gets this." he chuckled.
Robert gave him a murder look. He hated when someone called him a Kid. He hated every pointing out that he was the youngest in our group, only eighteen. "You're going down J."
Aaron murmured something but I didn't understand a word. His brown hair was in a mess and so was he.
Oliver didn't look any better.
His blue eyes wandered around trying to focus while he pulled a hand through his hair moving blond lock from his face.
They opened a new bottle of vodka.
Jared smiled when his green eyes met mine. Dimples on his cheek became visible making him look cute and sexy at the same time. He straightened himself up to full length now that Aaron was sitting again.
I almost forgot how hot he was during this one month separation.
The sun tanned his skin lightly while he was away making him look even more muscular. I instantly started remembering the shape of his perfect body underneath the long sleeved t-shirt that he was wearing. It made me want to take him somewhere where we could be alone so I could take that thing off him.
I pulled myself together by finishing my drink.
"Don't forget to breathe..." a voice whispered to my ear sending shivers down my spine, reminding me of some things that, unlike Jared, I wanted to forget.
I turned around to meet a familiar face.
I won't back down. I won't give him that pleasure. I gave him my coldest look instead. "What are you doing here?"
"Surprise!" he answered with a smile loud enough for everyone out here to hear.
Robert was first to react. Big smile took control of his face as soon as he heard well known voice. He made his way through the crowd looking a little bit shocked. "Caleb?!"
"What's up little brother?" Caleb asked playfully looking now at the others instead at me. "Aren't you happy to see me?"
"Don't be a fool!" Robert grinned and hugged him. "Welcome home bro."
Lucy, the only red haired in the group, gave him a mean look. "Who do you think you are, ha?!" she asked with her British accent. There was no way she could have hid where she was from even if she wanted to. "Coming in my house! On my party, uninvited!"
