i turn off my phone and throw it onto my bed. i sit there and think, who is tate? why did she help gabbie? why does gabbie and her even want me and jack broken up?

i need to talk to jack.
i need to fix things.

i ring the boys doorbell, jack answers the door. he looks surprised to see me, considering our argument last night.

"hey," he says softly, i wave and look down biting my lip. he walks outside and closes the door behind him.

"listen, we can't keep doing this bella" he says, i look back up at him. "i know, it's just-"

"it's just gabbie, she loves you." i say, jack sighs, "i don't love her bella, we can't let her ruin what we have." he says.

i don't respond to him, we stand in silence letting our thoughts fill the air. why did this have to happen?

"i love you jack," i say to him, "i love you bella." he says before pulling me into a kiss. i missed jacks lips on mine, but i knew it wouldn't last long. i knew where this was going.

things had to end

we pull away , "you're perfect bella" jack says making me blush, i smile a little but my smile fades, "what does this make us?" i ask him

"we can wait, until the time is right. we don't have to rush it, we'll be with each other again. just, not now." i feel tears forming in my eyes, i look down so jack won't see me cry.

he lifts my chin up , "please, don't cry" he reassures me, "y-you promise we'll be together, soon?" i ask him holding back my tears.

"i promise." he says
