Kyles pov

Iv always loved numbers. Numbers are cut and dry. Black and white. No grey area and they never lie. My life plans were a carefully calculated equation. I would take my 4.0 right to college. Then lunch a startup by age 25. That would catapult me into Zuckerburg status. I even had the next 2 years of high school planned out. During which time I would search for the 'perfect girl.....or guy' ... most likely guy.... no clue who thats supposed to be, but I didn't mind.

So yeah my whole life was planned out. What I didn't consider. What I couldn't have planned for is what we mathematicians referred to as an unknown variable or x. My x calculated by taking my inconvencable young age of 17 and subtracting 1 immune system. Then add thousand of white blood cells multiplied by 12 rounds of chemotherapy plus one bone-marrow transplant divided by 50 days of a hundred day quarantine and the sum of all that is my x.

Cancer.

Before I had the chance to find the perfect guy. And start the perfect life I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma so screw you unknown variable

Stans pov

"Ya dude JFK was a nightmare, but this hotel, Kenny, is sick," I say walking into a hospital.

"Stan Marsh," I say to the nurse.

"Ugh ha yeah, dude this place is the bested. Pretty sure I just saw a hot tub." I lie to Kenny. While following the nurse to my room.

I walk in shocked..its empty..and bland. Kenny still blabbing on the other end. I interrupted him. "Ugh hey, dude, sorry but ill call you back," I say into the phone then hanging up.i take a seat on the bed and look at my shoes feeling alone.

I lied the truth is I was diagnosed with leukemia bone cancer. And it's the last thing I want people to know. I'm the star cortor back. I'm popular and have a lovely girlfriend. I have everything and I dont need anyone knowing or feeling bad for me.
