What do you see when you look in the mirror? I see a girl. A girl that's scared of what society thinks of her. A girl that doesn't appreciate herself. A girl that thinks she's fat. A girl that believes she's ugly. A girl that wonders if she's worthless. A girl that stays up crying all night and crying herself to sleep. A girl that's hurt. A girl that's so critical of herself. A girl that's scared of feeling happy again, just to get hurt more. A girl that feels empty. A girl that feels pain and hurt. A girl that is confused. A girl that's been backstabbed so many times. A girl that's clueless about which of her friends are real and which are fake. A girl that easily gets taken advantage of. A girl that has no voice. A girl that can't form words when anxiety takes over. A girl that lets her depression take over her life. A girl that's drowning. A girl that is tired. She's tired of living. She's tired of seeing herself the way she does. She's scared of people seeing herself the way she does. I know that very well because I am that little girl in the mirror.
