When Niall woke up, he remembered that today was the day that he and Liam would be moving into their own house. Liam would be living with him temporarily until his fiancé Danielle was back in London, when she moved back, her and Liam would buy their own house. Niall didn’t mind the fact that in a few months Liam would be moving out. He didn’t mind at all. He liked the idea of living on his own, but when Liam asked if he could move in for a few months, and Niall couldn’t deny his best friend. He also understood the fact that Liam was tired of living with Louis and Harry. Liam loved Harry and Louis like brothers, but he was tired of the sleepless nights they caused, from noise and what not.
“Mum, you don’t need to cry, please don’t cry! I’ll call you every day, and I’ll come over tomorrow, it’s Sunday tomorrow, so of course I’ll be over every Sunday, that’s still our family day! It’s not like I’m moving to a different country, I’ll only be twenty minutes away.” Niall said into his mothers shoulder, considering she wouldn’t let go of him. “I know Niall, but you’re my little boy, you’ll always be my little boy. But you will come here every Sunday for dinner, do you understand me? And tomorrow bring Liam, Harry, and Lou with you. I miss those boys!” His mother said.
“Mum, it’s like you don’t know me at all. Food? Of course I’ll be there, and I’m sure they would love to come.” He said jokingly.
“I know, I love you Niall, call me when you’re done unpacking.” She said, tears in her eyes. “I love you too mum, and yes I will call you.” Niall said closing the door behind him. He knew that it was hard for his mother to see him leave, but he would call her every day, and see her every Sunday. But on the bright side he was very excited to be living on his own, well not technically on his own, but without his parents. Niall’s phone started to buzz in his pocket, it was a text from Liam.
Mate im already here, im gonna start unpacking
Ok, just don’t destroy the house
Im not. dont worry
As Niall pulled up to his new house, he could see Liam getting very frustrated while attempting to get his bed through the front door. Liam must have forgotten that they have a huge sliding glass door that goes to the back of the house, that would be big enough for Liam’s bed to fit through. He parked his car and Liam didn’t seem to notice he was there, he was just focused on getting his bed into the house.
“Oi! Liam! You know we have a door in the back, it’s big enough for your bed! I’ve been watching you for 5 minutes now, haven’t you figured that it won’t fit through there?”
“Well I thought that if I kept pushing it would go through, but I never thought about the back door.”
“What am I going to do with you Liam? Well come on then, grab the front, I’ll get the back”
Niall didn’t expect Liam’s bed to be as heavy as it was. He was lucky Liam had the arm strength he did, or they would have been dragging the bed frame on the floor. When they were in their backyard, Niall noticed the biggest, most unique tree he had ever seen. It was quite strange because he didn’t notice the tree when he first bought the house, but he was positive that we was going to check it out later.
As they got to the back of the house they opened the sliding glass door and pushed the bed through. Luckily the house still had no furniture so it was easy not to knock anything over with the bed.
“I got it from here mate, you can start unpacking yourself. I know Lou and Harry will be here soon to help us” Liam said, pushing his bed through his door, he was thankful his room was on the first floor, unlike Niall’s.
“Hopefully soon.” Niall sighed, walking back to the moving truck. With it still being quite early in the day, Niall expected with the help of Louis and Harry it wouldn’t be to late by the time him and Liam finish unpacking. It also depended on how soon they would get to the house. But this was the part Niall hated, getting everything unpacked, it was to time consuming, and Niall wasn’t a patient person. ‘Might as well start here’ Niall thought to himself, grabbing the box closest to him. It was full of bathroom necessities that included soaps, lotions, towels, shampoo’s, and household antibiotics. When Niall walked into the house he let it sink in that it was his house, he was on his own. Taking in the whole house he noticed Liam trying to put his sheets on his mattress, and he was failing completely at it. It was almost like watching something you would see in a comedy. Once one end was on, the other would slip off, and the process would repeat over and over again.
“Oi! Liam! Niall! What are you doing?” Louis yelled through the window.
“What does it look like? Harry would you help me, these sheets aren’t staying on, and Niall is enjoying this to much.” Liam said, staring at Niall.
“Well it doesn’t look like you two have gotten very far, have you now.” Louis said to Niall.
“It’s kind of hard when you have got that to entertain you, but we just have gotten here not to long ago anyway. And plus, do you know how heavy beds are?!” Niall said, almost shouting.
“Haven’t got a clue mate. But I might as well start helping, today is going to be a long day” Louis said, walking back to the huge truck with all of Niall’s stuff in it.

After quite a long day of unpacking and getting the whole house arranged, it was now 9:00 PM and all the boys were starved and tired. Louis was the one who suggested that none of them made dinner because it would take to long, and that took quite a bit of convincing for Niall but he finally agreed. When they were almost done, Louis went out and got Chinese food, and by the time he had got back, everyone was done and ready to eat.
“So how do you think you’ll like living together? I mean, you’ve been best friends for what, 7 years now? You’ve been planning to do this forever.” Harry said while stuffing his face.
“Pretty much, if not longer. I think don’t think we’ll have a problem living together, and we won’t really get lonely. My shift at the coffee shop is from 8:00 to 5:00 and Niall’s shift at the Library is from 9:00 to 5:00, so there isn’t really much of a time difference.” Liam said, double checking his work schedule.
“Yeah, and we can all still do pizza night every Friday!” Niall said, almost excited as a child would be on Christmas morning. “But tomorrow, all of you are coming with me to my mum’s for Sunday dinner, she misses you lads. Speaking of my mum, I better go call her and let her know I’m all settled in.” Niall stood up and walked to his room.
“Lou Bear, why don’t we ever eat at your mums house, are you embarrassed of me?” Harry said, with a cheeky smile.
“No, Harry you surely know why we don’t go to my mums house. The twins don’t need to know any more ways on how two guys suck each other off.” Louis said.
“Oh my god. Harry, why would you even say something like that around them?” Liam said with an disgusted look.
“Well they found some.. spicy.. magazines under our dear Lou’s bed, and they started asking questions, but I didn’t think they would actually tell Lou what I said to them.” Harry said.
“You’re messed up in the head mate. But I’m going to call Danielle, feel free to stay as long as you want, but when you leave please lock the door” Liam said heading off to his room.
“Well, he took that better than what I thought he would. I thought he would surely yell at me, even though they’re your sisters. But it’s getting late, we should get going.” Harry said, looking for his car keys.
“Yeah we should, and remember, we don’t have to worry about Liam now.” Louis said with a cheeky smile.
The day went by a lot better than any of the boys had hoped, they thought it would take at minimum two days to get unpacked, but luckily there wasn’t much to unpack. They all had a feeling that tomorrow was surely going to be a great day.
