The Beginning

It was a peaceful, clear sunny day while all the captains where having a meeting about recent problems in the seireitei. Every captain was paying attention to the topics at hand beside one, the captain of the 5th division Ichigo Kurosaki.

Ichigo's pov

Ichigo's mind: i get that this is a important topic and all, but god this is killing my head as all we are talking about is whether to make the use of items from the human world legal or not. I rather be home celebrating my kid's birthdays with my wife Rukia.
I was easly shook out of my stupor as the captain of the 10th division Toshiro Hitsugaya spoke to me,
"So do you agree Ichigo?"

"Uhhhh....yes?" I say confused at the question.

"Oh really so you agree to the death penalty for the act of keeping items related to the human world?"

"What No!" I yelled at him.

"hmm i see, maybe you should pay better attention next time." he said coldly as he slowly shakes his head at me.

"ok back to business, does anyone have any questions about the act of keeping items from the human world legal?"
Just before anyone could speak they heard a explosion was heard and soon after the sirens where heard across the seireitei. All at once every captain leapted out of their seats and started to make their way out to the balcony that looks over the whole city. They stood there frozen at what they were seeing.

"What the hell is going on here!" I yelled as i pushed my way through the crowd of captains. as i finally pushed my way through i saw the entire 5th division's barracks and the buildings around it completely destroyed. The whole area was covered by smoke and out of the smoke i saw 2 figures slowly rise out of the smoke. One that looks like a person holding a scythe and the other looked like a 9 taled fox, both seemed to be looking at the balcony were the captains where located. Then they slowly started to charge up a beam aimed directly at us.

"Everyone out of the way!" I yelled at them afraid of it being what i think it is. The figures fired at us as the whole area was covered in smoke and rubble fell on top of all us.

Several minutes later

As the smoke slowly cleared 2 out of the 13 captains rose out of the rubble, the rest were knocked unconscious frum the explosion. The 2 captains were Ichigo and Toshiro.

Ichigo's pov

"damn, we need to get down there now Toshiro, my family's in that area!" I yelled at him.

"I am afriad we can not do that, i understand your situation but we need to focus on the 2 figures who are doing this before they cause more damanged. Plus Rukia can handle herself." Toshiro said afriad of how i will react.

"Fine we will deal with those things first, but whats worrying me is that beam looked like a cero, which can mean that a Menos or a Arrancar is hear. i fear the worst if it is a Arrancar." I stated to him.

"then we should get going."

I nodded to him,"lets do this." we leapted off the ruined balcony as we slowly made our way to the suspected Menos or Arrancar.

Several minutes later again...

As the smoke started to lift we finally saw what the figures looked like the one with what looked like a scythe came out first he had black horns and hair with a mask that covers half of his head. Then the second figure came foward, she had silver hair a zanpakuto at her side half wayed drawn.

The figure with scythe spoke to me, "Daddy, what is happening to me i feel weird, but..." as a sadistic smile slowly crept up on his face," i feel good!"
I froze as a stuttered out a response," Kaien is that you, what happened, where is your mother?"
The second figure spoke up to, " Mommy's hurt daddy, we hurt her, oh god we tried to kill her, how could we try to kill her our own mom!" as the figure started to breakdown crying.
I rushed foward to her, " Misaki is that you?" as a slowly hugged her, trying to comfort her. " it is going to be alright we are going to find mommy and help ok?"
She slowly nods in response.
"Kaien where did you last saw her?" i asked him.
he pointed towards the now pile of rubble of the 5th division barrecks. you rushed over and started to clear away the rubble as Toshiro, Kaien and Misaki started to help you. You started to see steam coming off of them as they slowly started to turn back to their oringnal form and then they fell unconscious from exhuastion. you kept searching with Toshiro as Toshiro yelled for you to come over here quick. You saw Rukia covered with blood as she clenched the stump of her right arm.

"Rukia!!!!" you screamed as you ran over to her.
