After the incident with Cam and Rod, Cam was barely home. Anais kept trying to explain to Rod that he was going through a lot right now and that he should be a little more sensitive. Rod explained that so was everyone else but they weren't making bad decisions. It seemed like Anais could not get through to him no matter what she said. She understood hat Cam was hurting and was t sure how to deal with his pain and the only person he had basically turned his back on him.
Anais wanted to take a break from all the madness that was going on in her household. So she hit up her old friend to go out for a bite to eat.
As Anais brushed her hair to get ready to go, Rod walked in. He admired her doing the simplest of tasks and couldn't believe that they were still together and so happy.
"You really have to go? I'm tryna eat out too" Rod whined. Anais giggled.
"Boy please. I need a small break, even if it's only an hour." She replied
"What are we supposed to eat? Mya is gonna be up from her nap soon and you know I can't cook" Rod whined again. He didn't mind her going out, he's just gotten so used to her being at the house all the time.
"You know how to make a sandwich, throw some chips on the side and boom, you got lunch" Anais teased. "You need to show Mya that a man can do whatever a woman does"
"I can do whatever you do .. just not cook. Imma make dinner tonight without your help, just to prove to you that I can do this. You ain't gone know how to act" Rod joked.
"Well I'll have the pizza place on standby, I love you but I have no faith in your ability to cook anything without my help" Anais laughed as she walked into their closet to find some shoes.
"Well who are you going out with? Janes said him and Tyra are out of town for a few days."
"You know I have more friends then just Tyra and Chloe right? I'm going out with Austin" Anais explained.
Jahrod trusted Anais, he knew she would never go and cheat on him. That just wasn't the kind of girl Anais is. He knew how much Austin meant to her and he didn't want to stand in between that but he didn't trust him as far as he could throw him. Knowing what he knows about Austin made him uneasy with him around Anais, he knew they both said no secrets but he wasn't sure what Austin's motives were. He didn't want to jeopardize their friendship over something that could be nothing, but then again it could be something. These thoughts constantly played in his head, he was so lost as to what to do.
"Have fun, don't get too full though. Cause I need you to save room for my dinner" Rod said walking up behind her and grabbing her by the waist. He planted a few kisses on her cheek before letting her go.
