                                  "Worthless.."

"BETRAYED!"

                                "How could you?!"

"We trusted you!"

                         "..Y/n.."

Screams of agony echoed throughout the burned house as flames rushed through it and created a circle around you, your eyes beginning to water and feeling the all too familiar feeling of smoke filling your lungs. You fell to your knees, coughing and gripped your H/c hair and cried out as you felt the flames beginning to slowly engulf your shaking frame. Burned hands began to emerge from the flooring and clawed at your skin, all of them releasing a shrill screech as they attempted to grab at you, all different voices from your past.

"Why didn't you save us?"

"Traitor!"

"How could you?!"

Two cold, small hands grabbed your hands and pulled them away from your sobbing face.

"How could you, Y/n? Why did you leave me?" little S/n  sister dropped to her knees, wrists still held in her iron grip.

You stared up at her in horror, E/c eyes widening as what she said hit you like a freight train, and despite the flames still closing in you felt a cold shiver run down your spine.

"I didn't mean too-.." A larger hand hit your face and caused you to jump away, almost throwing yourself into the fire but catching yourself.

"Of course you did. It's your fault. All of your fault."

Your mother looked down at you, an emotionless glare in her e/c eyes and a frown crossing her face in disgust.

"You left us here to die for some killer freaks in a mansion that belongs in a circus."

You flinched at her tone, fists clenching in anger. "They're not freaks. They're more of my family then you and (Fathers name) has ever been."

She chuckled slowly, shaking her head and rubbing her hand over her face. "You're a real piece of work, aren't you? They're not your family. You're delusional. Stupid. Worthless."

"N-no!" You managed to cough out, dropping to your knees again as the smoke began to choke you, eyes watering heavily; both from the smoke and tears. You managed out a few words,

"I'm sorry."

The flames engulfed you as if a starving wolf was finally getting its meal. You wanted so badly to scream, cry, but couldn't. Powerless. Helpless.

Worthless.

"Stupid."

"You deserve this, Y/n."

"It's your fault!"

I shot up in bed, gripping the white bedsheets that were in a tangled mess along with my legs. My eyes threatened to burn with tears at the sudden and horrible nightmare. The leatherbound journal was still in my hand, knuckles white at this point. In a fit of panic, I dropped it and felt immediate relief wash over my body. My head then shot around the room for any sign of disturbance that could've caused the bad dream but concluded it was just my mind that was messing with me.

"I swear this mansion will be the death of me.." You grumbled, wide awake now but by now you were positive your eyes were bloodshot from holding back dreaded tears. Ever since your time spent in the mansion nightmares were becoming apart of my daily routine. You wondered if these strange occurrences would somehow spark either complete and utter insanity or a mental breakdown. Or what was left of your sanity anyways...

After inspecting the dimly lit room you let your feet hit the floor, cringing when realizing how cold it was in the room. "It wasn't as cold when I went to sleep.. a chill ran down your spine as you trailed off and felt a pair of eyes on you. After deciding enough was enough you grabbed the clothes (That Slender had generously left from his last "Observation client) from the open duffle beside you, rifling through it quickly and pulling out an oversized F/c sweater, and slightly too long of jeans.

"Whoever wore these clothes had to be gigantic!"  You sighed, speed walking to the door and froze when your hand hit the doorknob, tensing up immediately. Why was the doorknob so war,? Was someone in here when you were asleep?

Another shiver ran down your spine and your hair stood on its end when you heard a demonic, all too familiar laugh behind you. You didn't spare the time to turn around when you twisted open the doorknob and sprinted down the halls of the mansion until tripping on someone's foot and sent you flying a few feet away, landing on your stomach.

You heard the same laugh you were running away from behind you and it slowly rose to a higher, more normal pitch. You whipped around, hair shielding your face, eyes widening as you stared at him. He had a mask, one side was black and the other white, the white side having a normal mask smile, but the other looked as if someone feverishly tried painting the other side. He wore all black clothing except for a large black and white striped scarf that hung loosely around his neck and shoulders. The laughing began to die down and he crouched as you sat up from your position,

" 私はあなたがその人のために感じるとは信じられません!"

You began to stand up as he began giggling like a maniac, knowing you didn't understand. "I don't know this language...But it does sound very familiar.."  You were deep in thought until you heard screaming from down the hall and the thumping of heavy legs.

"You jerk!" suddenly a stark white and bright pink figure flew past your frame as you scrambled to get out of the way as they collided with each other, arguing as they did so. You turned to face them as they began to fight. Jeff was wearing nothing but a lacy pink bra and pink boxers with flowers on them.

"I-did nothing this time! Get off of me, you freak of nature!"  cried Kagekao as he attempted to fight Jeff off. Your face turned red from second-hand embarrassment as you slowly stood up, trying to process the scene before you. Kagekao was trying to crawl away, gripping at anything he could and get away from the pasty thing that was after him. "You're not going anywhere.." Jeff growled, lunging for him before Kagekao disappeared into thin air, leaving Jeff in his wake, and then his cackling came from a different area of the mansion, echoing. Jeff growled again, this time more animalistic as he shoved himself past you and ran towards the noise, shrieking curses at the "Kagekao" being."

"Just another day in this godforsaken mansion." You sighed, brushing yourself off as you started downstairs, this time being extra careful of any weird masked men or pasty psychopaths.
