First encounter

Y/N POV

It's now been 3 months since I've joined YG entertainment as a trainee. I originally am from Busan but I moved to Seoul to pursue my music career. I've always had high hopes and believed in my dreams but never thought I'd ever be able to have this opportunity...

I knock twice on the door of the second floor dance studio. I hear a small 'come in!' as I nervously grab the handle. I still could not believe I was helping with the choreography of Dua Lipa and Blackpink's Kiss and Make up. I enter inside and bow to the choreographers. They bow back then we all take time to stretch and warm up. I hope I do well today....

I walk to the YG food cafe happily while listening to music. The president ,aka Yang Hyun Suk, thought I did well for the last 2 days so he allowed me to eat in the cafe on the second lunch break since I miss the first ones. I look around to see no other trainees. I seemed to be the first one! I grab the food tray and add food not forgetting  to thank the catering ladies.

I sit on the table in the corner and listen to Bigbang's recent song Flower Road. Quietly singing along, as I hear lots of footsteps approaching. I don't look up thinking it's not that important. I continue eating in satisfaction. I suddenly hear an impact of a tray hitting the table. I grab a piece of meat with my chopsticks and put it in my mouth before looking up. The meat hits the back of my throat and goes the wrong way. I choke and hit my chest area desperately. I start coughing repetitively causing all attention. I look up in shock and confusion.

Lisa from Blackpink was in front of me.....THE. LISA. OF. BLACK.PINK. WAS. SITTING. IN. FRONT. OF. ME. AND. SAW. ME. GAGGING. LIKE. A. FISH. OUT. OF. WATER. She looks at me in concern and a bit in guilt. I look around to see Jennie and Jisoo about to sit on the table and Rosé about to happily get her meat. I fully turn around the room to see it surrounded with all idols. WINNER. IKON. EPIK HIGH. SEUNGRI. ZION T. HECK EVEN LEE HI!

Then it hit me. This is the SECOND lunch break. FIRST is for trainees and SECOND is for idols....I awkwardly look down before bowing to them apologising for my sudden outburst. Great. They were all looking at you like a fool. What an idiot I am. I avoid everyone's eyes and try to eat quietly. I hear more noises of trays hitting tables around me. BLACKPINK. IS. SITTING. WITH. ME. Lemme just go and die if I haven't already. I continue avoiding eye contact when one of them speaks up.

"He seems shy eh?" I recognise the voice instantly. It was Jennie.

"He was pretty shocked when he saw Lisa!" Jisoo laughs as Lisa gives a concerned nod.

"Maybe he was shocked by her fake hair." Jennie jokes.

"I'm so sorry but it's fakeu hair~ Fakeu hair~" Jisoo sings. The girls laugh as Lisa sulks on her own.

"Excuse me?" I halt my eating. Where they talking to me?

"Maybe he can't hear. He has earphones." Rosé states not knowing I had paused my music since the incident occurred.

"Excuse me?" Lisa speaks a little louder. I mentally prepare myself before looking up. I take out one of my black earphones pretending I wasn't listening before. I bow slightly to them.

"Hahah cute~" Jennie coos causing me to rub my neck awkwardly.

"I'm sorry for what happened earlier." Lisa says sheepishly. I immediately deny and shake my hands in front of me.

"Nooo it wasn't you sunbae. I should be the one apologising." I bow again.

"Please call me Lisa and you don't have to bow so much. You'll break your back in this state." She says, teasing vaguely. I nod awkwardly.

"What's your name?" Jennie asks as they start eating.

"Y/N..." I replied nervously.

"I'm Jennie." Yep. I already know. She starts chuckling.

"D-did I say that out loud?" I question embarrassed. She nods her head and goes back to her food.

"You're cute." She states casually. JENNIE JUST CALLED ME CUTE...TWICE! OHMAHOLYJISOOS! I tried not to scream right there and then. I could feel blood rushing to my face.

"Ah cuteeee! He's blushing!" They decide to tease me a lot. When lunch finishes, I bow to BlackPink and thank them for accompanying me before heading back to my usual training. I'd never though I'd encounter BlackPink like this..
