Jihoon, now startled by the other male's unexpected and uneven greeting, was repeatedly blinking in shock not even saying a word.

Other male must've noticed shorter boy's shocked face as his voice softened and he calmly said: "OoOh- I'm sorry, I should've introduced myself first- I'm Kwon Soonyoung, and you are...?"

Jihoon snaped out of whatever he was in, still not so comfortable to speak as they were complete strangers "O-oh, uhhh, Lee Jihoon. I-I'm Lee Jihoon, nice to meet you, Soonyoung, I guess...".

Soonyoung flashed shorter male his gorgeous smile, which Jihoon found beautiful, he couldn't disagree, latter was definitely charming in his own way, yet the fact he was so loud just a moment before- Jihoon got tired just at the thought of having to deal with it every day now...

They're just neighbors, he definitely won't see the other male around so often... Right?...

Again, he brushed off all the thoughts. Overall, his main goal was to go and get some groceries.
Older male wanted to say something but Jihoon didn't want to have another conversation, with his social skills it would only get awkward and shit. So before latter could say anything Jihoon said: "Yeah, sorry. Actually, I need to go and buy some groceries. So, I'll just go-". And in this moment Soonyoung interrupted: "Ahh, what a coincidence! I was going to do the same, actually, I need some help with that. I moved out yesterday, and I'm not quiet sure how to get there. Could you maybe... help me out a little bit?"

Again, Jihoon let out a sigh but eventually gave in. But why? Even his friends can't get him to do stuff for them. (Well, Jeonghan can, but that's another story.) There was something about the other boy that just made Jihoon feel something, something weird.
Similar feeling he had every time he's seen his best friend, what was it though? Well, whatever this feeling means, it's a good sign.

"S-sure, follow me..." - Jihoon said as he started to head towards the direction, which supposedly led to the grocery's.

"Thank you!" - the latter responded happily as he started to walk by Jihoon's side adjusting to younger's pace.

Great, this is going to be awkward af. Jihoon thought.

How is he supposed to start a conversation? what should he say? Or maybe the silence is good? He likes it, but what about the taller male? Now, that he thinks about it... How did he make friends in the first place? He just casually stepped in to the college to get some education and walked out with three cocky idiots. Not to mention that they're all older and not necessarily quiet. Whatever that was, bless this miracle, Jihoon actually likes them but how did they become friends, honestly? He's so quiet, he rarely speaks, his friends know that but what if Soonyoung will think that Jihoon is boring? What if he will dislike him? Why the hell does he even think about it?! It can't be a crush or anything. Jihoon is straight! Or is he? - Jihoon, now having a small conflict with himself didn't know Soonyoung has been staring at him.

You see, it indeed is the first time they meet but he reminds Soonyoung of certain someone.
Certain someone his best friend used to talk about a lot. "really short, cute guy with really pretty and dark eyes, shy, kind, not a big talker..." and he could go on with the discription, adding a lot of compliments, and other cheesy shit his best friend shamelessly told him.

Soonyoung brushed it off, Jihoon may fit all those discriptions well but it might be a coincidence as well. Also, thinking about the discription... Did he actually admit that Jihoon is cute? It's hard to believe, Soonyoung does in fact bond with others quickly, so it's nothing new to instantly compliment them or be really kind. But cute? They barely know each other, in fact, they just met a while ago. It can't be a crush, right?
