Meanwhile, in Inkopolis, Meggy met up with Tari and Saiko to go holiday shopping. Tari plans to give video games for Christmas, Saiko would buy clothing for the gang. As for Meggy, she would bring gifts that acknowledges the things her friends like. However, she started to struggle with coming up with a gift for Mario.
"Darn, and I thought it would be easy to shop for people, I don't know what to get for him..." Meggy thought. Tari noticed Meggy's worried look, and asked, "Everything alright, Meggy? You seem uneasy."
"Huh? Oh. I can't seem to decide what to get for Mario, despite knowing what to get for the rest of the crew," Meggy responded. "Well you better think of something quick, Smg4's party will arrive sooner than you think." Saiko commented. "Well, thanks for the additional pressure!" Meggy now was worried about being able to get something in time.
"Would you like some help getting something for him?" Tari asked. "I could use all the help I can get, thanks." And with that, both Tari and Meggy headed to the nearest shops containing items that anyone would be wishing for. "See you two at the party!" Saiko blurted out.
