Love at first bite

Chaper 1

The night it all began

Y/n POV

It was a normal day for me a highschool student. Going to school like every other student would . Luckily it was a Friday and that meant that today was going to be a short day of school , which was a relief. The day was actually quite fun as the time went by , watching all the drama people did in school.

And finally it was end of day and with that came something unexpected. I was on my way out of class when a classmate of mine called Mark  started coming towards me . He gave me a letter and then asked me if I would be his date for the dance tonight. I knew I had nothing better to do that evening so I said yes , anyway I wanted to get to know him better . After that I thanked him and left , I had to go shopping on the way home because I knew that I needed a perfect dress to match the theme .

While I was thinking about that I realised that there was a new shop that was near my house , I had never seen before . I went to the shop and opened the door , I looked around and found lots of dresses. I decided to go in and see if I could find something. I went in side and headed to the counter to ask for help. There was a young lady there and so I greeted her. After that I showed her the letter I got and told her what I was looking for . She then told me that there was nothing that suited that theme. I was very disappointed but none the less I thanked her for her help and was on my way out. 

As I was about to leave she told me to come back and that she would look in the back for something. She came back with a beautiful black dress , which was exactly what I wanted . She said that this was the only one she had left and that it is perfect for me. I asked her how much and she said I could have it for free but I must look after it. She also gave me a book and told me that I should read it , that it would be helpful. I thanked her very much and then left for home.

Now I had everything I needed , I just needed to relax a while before I go. Luckily there was still  an hour left before I had to be there. I sat on my bed and started to read the book . In the book it talked about a mysterious night where the moon would turn  blood red and supernatural things would happen to a person who witnesses it . The book was somehow interesting but I knew that it could not  be real because it was just a fairytale in a story.

30 minutes later

I had half an hour left till I had to be at the party , so I put the book away and decided to have a bath . I had a wonderful time in the bath , it had lots of bubbles and had a beautiful aroma of berries that left my skin smooth. When I came out of the bath I still had the smell of berries on me which made me happy. I then quickly got dressed into my outfit and got everything that I needed for the party . Finally I had everything with time to spare.
I then called Mark and told him that I was ready. He said that he would be there soon and so I waited outside my house.

Mark POV

I just got a call from Y/n saying that she was ready , so I started to make my way to her house. When I got to her house I saw her , she was so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off her. She got in the car and we left for the party. About ten minutes later we got to the place. I stopped the car and then headed towards the entrance of the venue with Y/n. Just before we headed in I knew that I had to tell her now and that it was the right time to tell her. I took her hand in mine and made her face me and then told her  how I have felt for the past year and a half.

Y/n POV

Mark held my hand and then made me face him. After he did that he told me that he has loved me for a year and a half now . He said that it was finally the right time to tell me and that he wanted me to be his girlfriend. He then told me that he would give me sometime to think about it and with that he went inside . I then decided to go to the back area of the place and saw a beautiful scenery , which was a breath taking garden filled with plants . But there was something that caught my eye , a dazzling lake with a bridge over top that had the perfect view of the moon. I made my way there and looked at the bright globe like moon , which was shimmering down on my face.

With that I thought of what mark said to me earlier and then all my memories of me and him came flashing through my mind and it was at that time I knew that I felt the same way. I knew what my heart wanted and so I had to go tell him.

As I was about to go and find him something happened . I suddenly could not move and saw that the moon  started to turn red . It carried on turning red until it became as dark as blood. The light from the moon directly shone down on me and with that everything around me began to change.
