Last of the vampire bloodline

Chapter 1

I never knew my sweet sixteen would be the last time I ever felt like normal girl.

I grabbed the food out of the back of my mothers car.

"Put that on the table over there hunny." Mother yelled why she was setting up the center pieces.

A few hours later the party had started and I had been the life of the party.

My younger sister Melody was running around with our cousins.

I looked over at the door and saw two unfamiliar people walk in.

I continued to dance and until my boyfriend Josh walked up and tickled my sides.

"Josh stop it." I squealed at him. He eventually stopped and started dancing at my side.

The next hour of the party went good until I heard something growl at me.

Then I heard a growl very close to me. I turned and saw Josh. He hid face was covered in fur and slobber from his muzzle dropped down.

I heard Melody crying. My head whipped to her and saw the same thing happen to my parents.

I ran over and grabbed Melody. A women in a Victorian styled dress ran through the door and grabbed my arm.

She led us out the door and down to the beach outside the venue.

"Who are you?" I asked her.

"I'm your birth mother and you need to get in that boat now." She pushed us towards the boat as a bunch of wolves came running towards us.

"What's happening?" I sat Melody down in the boat and climbed in.

"The people at your party are werewolves and your the last of the royal vampire bloodline. Your protector will meet you at the other side." After I sat down in the boat she pushed us away.

As we floated away I watched my actual mother try to fight against the wolves but she had gotten torn to shreds. I covered Melody's face and turned on the engine.

After the wolves finished with my mom they started climbing their way into the water.

I wrapped a blanket around Melody and started to steer the boat.

In a second the wolves had caught up with the boat and tried to climb on. I went faster and wasn't watching out for the wolves.

By the time we had gotten to the other side of the lake I was tired and soaked from the water that splashed up.

We climb on shore. I sat down and I started to cry.

A man with rich dark black hair grabbed my shoulder.

"Are you princess Vanessa?" He asked me.

"I'm Sarah not Vanessa. Are you my protector?" I asked him.

"Get in the van quickly the wolves are catching up." I turned around and saw wolves getting close to the shoreline.

I got up and jumped into the van. The man handed Melody to me and slammed the door shut.

I looked out the small window  I saw a werewolf coming up behind him.  I started to bang on the window and yell to him.

He turned around swiftly ripped the wolf's head clean off his body.

He opened the driver door and put the wolves head on the passenger seat.

The van started to drive down the abandoned road. The wolves started to chase after it as we continued to drive away.
