Cars. They come at such an unexpected speed. You can never see them coming. Thats how Chris's parents died. Their names were Christie and John Gardens. Such lovely people. Funny how lively people are, and in a few seconds, they are gone.
"Chris!! Chris, watch out!!!!" screeched Stephanie.
Chris was snapped out his daydream long enough to swerve an incoming car.
Stephanie was Chris's younger sister. With brown hair and her fathers grey eyes.
"Sorry, Steph! Just day dreaming..." mumbled Chris, while tousling his blond hair. He grinned sheepishly.
"Ugh. We're late for school!" Stephanie sighed.
Chris checked the clock and his sea green eyes bulged at the time. 15 minutes late!
Chris was only 15, and he had to support him and his sister. As much as it pained him to drive, he had to otherwise he would be late for school.
He quickly parked in an empty slot and opened the boot. Chris got out his guitar case and back pack, running into the entrance.
"Thank you for joing us today, Mr. Gardens" said Mrs. Winters, his teacher.
Chris quickly slipped in an empty chair.
"Crap!" he mumbled.
He had forgotten his homework!
"Uh..Miss?I forgot my, uh, homework..." said Chris.
"DETENTION!" yelled Mrs. Winters.
"But I have work! You don't understand!" said Chris, while the other children snickered.
Mrs. Winters tone softened. She was well aware of his situation.
"I will except a 5 paragraph essay about The Importance Of Homework, OK?"
Chris sighed.
"Uh, I guess.."
80 horribe minutesof Maths passed and it was lunch.
"Yo, Gardens!" yelled Chris's friend, Alex.
*Chris to the principle, I repeat, Chris to the priciple* The intercom noted.
As soon as Chris got to the principle, he was shaking all over.
What could he have possibly done?
