                                       Chapter 1: Nobody Cares

Well my name is Colt, not that anybody cares. Well my life is full of nothingness I guess you could say. My parents are to busy with their jobs to care about me. I have no siblings and I'm a nobody at school so scratch out the having friends part and the having a girlfriend part.

I get straight A's all the time and have no social life what so ever if I haven't already made that clear. I just turned sixteen about a week ago and got a driver's license. Yay me.

Well that pretty much sums it all up. I do nothing and have no life.

Well school started like a month ago and I mean it's pretty easy like always. Usually when I pair up with someone I do all the work and finish the project in like a day and my partner and I never talk to each other again.

Well I'm applying for jobs. So far I've applied at a frozen yogurt place, a nice fancy restaurant, and some skating rink place. I think that's all I'll apply for, for now.

For now I'm just going to stay in my room, listen to some music and finish one of my school projects.

I unexpectedly fell asleep after I finished my easy school project.

Later that day I found out that the skating place accepted my application. Well I thought to myself, most exciting thing that's happened to me in a week.

An hour later my dad had unexpectedly showed up earlier than normal, but of course like usual, he went straight to his little office in our house and closed his office door behind him.

The next day after I got home from school I got ready to go into the skating rink for my first day of working there. "Hello there you must be Colt" my new manger Lindy said. She was probably only about twenty five. So she set me up with my nametag and my skates and stuff like that.

"Well that was fun" I mumbled to myself as I drove home from my new work. I almost passed out of exhaustion when I got to my house. I managed to climb the stairs that led to the floor where my room was. I dove onto my bed and fell asleep in the same exact cloths that I had been wearing that whole day.

I awoke at eleven in the morning. Luckily it was Saturday and I didn't have to work or go to school.
