Lesaro's POV
We'd just gotten the curse broken and was chasing Sparrow when Capitàn jumped onto the anchor of the ship and left the rest of us behind.

"Capitàn, Capitàn!" I called out. But he ignored us and continued climbing. I looked up, hoping he'd come back. He didn't. I felt so betrayed. I gave all my loyalty to that man and what does he do with it? He throws it all away just to get revenge on Sparrow for what he did to us. Just as I thought we were all gonna die, I saw another anchor drop down. "Grab on!" we heard a voice shout. We all did as told and was soon carried up to a large, black ship with black sails. A young maiden walked up and introduced herself as Megan Freddie. Although I was happy that we were rescued, I was still upset that Capitàn had abandoned us and I went over to a crate on the other side of the ship, sat down, and started sniffling. That's how upset I am, judge me all you want. Megan looked at me with a confused expression.

"Our Capitàn abandoned us, and he was Lesaro's best friend. And Lesaro was his most loyal man" Officer Santos explained to her.

"Oh, you poor thing" said Megan as she walked up and hugged me. I hugged back as I cried into her arms. I gave all my trust to him, and now, I don't know how I'll be able to give any of my trust to anyone ever again.

"I know it seems silly for me to be crying. But I just feel so upset, angry, and betrayed" I said into her shoulder. Strangely, I felt safe in her arms.

"Do you have any rum?" I asked. I need to drown my sorrows.

"Sure" said Megan as she went into the Captain's Quarters and came out with multiple rum bottles. She gave one to each and every one of us, including her crew, and we drank the night away.

My heart's broken, but I'll pull through. Capitàn abandoning us finally broke me. Let it be known that from this day forward, I no longer consider Armando Salazar a friend.
