[man I hate this 2017 dumpster fire of a fucking book man, if ur sane check out the newer cooler one with the cooler, dumbassier, edgier NB Y/N 🥱]
"Hey Toby? Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Oh no reason. I ju-just like staring."
"Okay....well, could you stop? It's kinda weird..."
Toby grinned and glanced away from (Y/N) as she was busy washing the dishes in the kitchen; it was her day to do the chores. (Y/N) heaved a sigh and roughly scrubbed at the cup she held, focusing on trying to get out a stain. She felt eyes burning into her and turned to Toby once again, frowning in frustration.
"Toby, what do you want?!"
"To see you and EJ together again~"
(Y/N) stopped scrubbing and glared at Toby with a frozen stare. "We're only friends, you idiot," She muttered, despising Toby as the smirk on his face widened. "Bullshit! You tw-two are more than friends, a-and you know it," Toby snapped, "you're both al-always hanging around each other now a-and there's never a moment I see any-any of you two apart!"
It was true that (Y/N) and EJ had begun to spend a lot more time with each other, ever since that night they had played that game of Truth or Dare. She would never give in to telling Toby, but (Y/N) did eventually begin to develop feelings for EJ; to an extent she never thought would before. (Y/N) came close a few times to telling EJ how she felt, but only chickened out of nervousness or another Creepypasta passing by. She wasn't even sure if Jack still liked her in that way anymore.
"That doesn't mean anything Toby," (Y/N) sighed, trying to ignore Toby by going back to the dishes. "I have to finish these now, so leave me alone."
"Sure, try and get rid o-of me, but I know the truth (Y/N). You can't hide!"
"Toby shut up," Someone else grumbled as they were walking into the kitchen, and both (Y/N) and Toby turned to see Eyeless Jack walking in with an empty glass in hand. "Well if it isn't the lover boy himself, E-J—"
"Go run your mouth somewhere else and quit bothering (Y/N), can't you see she's busy?" Jack interrupted, casting a gaze in Toby's direction. "It's nice of you to def-defend your girlfriend Jackie~"
"Get out!"
Jack hissed and started in Toby's direction, making the proxy laugh aloud and dart away quickly before he could get to him. Jack sighed and walked up beside (Y/N), placing his glass in the sink.
"Hey..." (Y/N) started, a bit lowly, and she gave EJ a slight glance from the side. "How's it going." Jack asked, and she gave a slight shrug of her shoulders.
Even though it was common for them to hang out now, their conversations were always still a bit awkward and short lived. (Y/N) troubled finding words to say, things to impress Jack, and he didn't usually seem to have much to say either.
"Everything's fine. What are you up to?"
"I'm pretty bored. I'd wanted to go hunting with Jeff, but he's too busy playing video games with BEN instead."
"Of course he is," (Y/N) scoffed, taking the glass and cleaning it with the sponge. "I thought maybe you could go with me instead; it could be just the two of us," Jack stated, trying to catch her glance despite her trying to focus on the dishes. (Y/N) smiled a bit to herself, and refused to look back at EJ; she replied, "Sure, I'll come. Just as soon as I finish here."
"Great," Jack nodded his head a bit and quickly looked over the dishes that were left before slowly starting to walk off and out of the kitchen.
(Y/N) bit her tongue feeling her heart racing. "When I go hunting with him later, I've got to tell him..." She whispered to herself."
