She was shockingly gorgeous, her black hair tied up into the messiest bun she was capable of tying it in, and yet, she was still shockingly gorgeous. Her smile brightened the atmosphere of the room bringing a smile to those around her and none was different according to Cameron's eye. "What can I get you?" she asked, focusing her attention on the notepad ahead of her before stealing a glance at the customer in front of her. He matched her charm and anyone closely watching the two would have said they'd be the perfect pair.

"A free conversation with you and maybe just a hot chocolate." he responded, completely perplexed by this unusual attraction to a girl he knew nothing of. He'd seen her a millions of times seated in the same seat whilst being fixed across a few different females. Today was peculiar though and maybe it was because there was no female fixed across from him but he'd finally made contact with the girl who served him coffee all these months down the line, even if it was just done with the eyes.

She shook her head in distaste, scoffing loud enough for the whole coffee house to hear, "Hot chocolate? If you're going to have a conversation with me you're going to need caffeine." she joked, jotting down his order. She took one last glance at him with a smirk before slipping her notepad back into her apron pocket. "The hot chocolate, is that all?"

"I think you forgot to jot down, 'A moment of your time,'" he smirked back, pointing to the notepad that was now nowhere in sight. His eyes fixated slowly back to her face just after catching the typed letters that spelled out her name, "Julie. Pretty name."

"I appreciate the compliment but I'm not interested," she shrugged, gently grinning at him. "You'll find a girl who will love you but I'm not that girl and you're just not my type." she shrugged, her hand gently cascading down his arm before preparing to turn on her heels and to escape him.

"Not your type?" he questioned as he climbed out of his seat to follow her back to the counter where he would pay for his coffee. Any moment he could get with her he would, and he wouldn't stop until he received her full attention. There was something different about her not on this day in particular but from the other girls he typically tried to pursue. It was not as if they didn't deserve someone but he found no particular interest with them as much as he did with her. She figured a lot about him, she had to, after months of serving his coffee, she not only knew his favorite drink orders but she had to have picked up some information on her. Not once, not up to this day, did he know a single thing about the quiet girl behind the counter of minimalistic coffee house.

Julie sighed heavily walking behind the counter calling to her manager and co-worker, Lillian, "Ring him up for me, I'm leaving for the day." she nodded off to her before dashing into the kitchen.

Lillian jumped in speedily, "One hot chocolate; 3.95 is your total," she smiled proudly at him, watching his gaze follow Julie into the kitchen. "3.95, please." she repeated, her tone much more harsh as her eyes trained him up and down. It was her second request for his money that caught his attention and soon the bright cafe stripped away to its reality. The lights seemed dim reflecting the night sky and the faces were filled with the stresses and anxieties of college students.

"Actually can I order another drink?" he requested, a soft groan escaping from Lillian's mouth before she nodded tiredly awaiting for his final drink. "Can we make this quick?"

"Yeah, yeah. Just get me what the girl has." he answered, his vision shifted back to the door leading into the kitchen. He helplessly waited for her to come back into the company of other customers but it seemed like she'd taken another exit to avoid him. His gaze fell back to Lillian saddened, "I'm sorry she's not just a girl; her name's Julie."
