Y/ns p.o.v

I look down at the child. She may look like one, but she seems more... mature...dark? A little scary? I force a smile, and shake Chara's hand, "Nice to meet you Chara, I'm y/n." Chara looks at me like I'm an idiot, "I know." I look around some more, and there's still a weird type of darkness, as though there was some invisible light source. "So, Chara, why am I here?" Chara is quiet, "Do you remember Frisk saying they where bringing their 'imaginary friend' to the sleepover? I am that friend, but definitely not imaginary. You see, I need you're help.. actually, me and one other person." I look at Chara, she looks like a normal child, but her outline is all fuzzy, as though she was a fading memory. "What do you need my help with?" She look out to the void, them back at me, "Y/n, have you ever heard of the monster King and Queens son and daughter? Before Frisk?" I shake my head, and Chara rolls her eyes, "Long ago, Earth was ruled by to races: Humans and Monsters. One day, humans declared war, fearing our magical power. Eventually, humans won, and sealed us under that god forsaken mountain with a magical spell, the Barrier. Years later, a human fell through the surface into the Underground. The kind and queen welcomed them with open arms, and the human and their son, Prince Asriel, grew up to be siblings and best friends. One day, the human and Asriel devised a plan to break out of the underground, but this could only be done with a human Soul." Chara looked away, "the human, desperate to get her family onto the surface, ate buttercups, and purposely got sick... very sick, and eventually died. Asriel, stuck to the plan, absorbed the child's soul, and brought their body onto the surface, laying them in a field of flowers in the middle of a village. Screams rang out. And the villagers, thinking the monster had killed the child, hit him with everything they had. The human, inside his head, begged him to kill them, gather their souls, so we could shatter the barrier forever, but he refused." Chara grit her teeth, refusing to cry, "but in the end, he smiled, and went back down to the Underground, and turned to dust in the castle gardens, and the human was buried where they fell into the Underground. And that human was me." A single tear rolls down Charas cheek, and they quickly wipe it off and sniff. I hug her, and she hugs back, somewhat awkwardly, as if not used to contact. "I was thinking, Frisk and I figured out that you where elven, so we thought you might be able to bring me and Asriel back from the dead, so we could see mom and dad, and live on the surface..." I break the hug, and hold Chara by her shoulders, "You know, resurrection is forbidden in all magical races, and it's a highly advanced spell, but I can do it. Theres also one problem, you and Asriel have been dead for... most likely decades, if you two have anything, dust, soul fragments, I will have to use that to resurrect you. Anything, as long as it's not dead." Chara has a considerate look, lots up, "Will a soulless flower and a spirit work?" I nod, but then I realized, "Wait, Chara, you mean... Flowey is Prince Asriel?" She nods, and stare into space, "how will I get you and Flowey in the same place?" Chara pulls away from me, "Well, just get Frisk, and ask them to bring Flowey, they usually carry him around in a pot." I nod, and notice Charas frame blurring. "Ahh, So you're waking up. I'll meet you later, maybe around four o' clock? That's around the time Frisk gets out of school." I nod, "goodbye." I open my eyes groggily, and look around. Anjo was running and jumping on everything, yapping and saying, "Wake up, wake up wake up wake up wake up!" I made an oof sound as he rebounded off my chest and onto Sans's stomach, who woke up with a startled expression, "What the fu-" I elbow him before he cussed, because Frisk was chasing the puppy around, giggling as they ran. Undyne was up, holding a spear, with a grumpy war face on. Alphys was trying to sleep under the blanket, and Papyrus was already up and making breakfast. Wait... if he got lessons from Undyne... s**t. I get up and run towards the kitchen, expecting some sort of fire or gas, but instead, I was greeted with the smell of....pancakes. I stop, and see Papyrus wearing an apron saying, 'Eat the food or get out' in swirly letters, and he was frying batter on a pan. No confetti, gasoline, or monster dust, but a cookbook and some regular batter mixes. Sans appeared beside me, "Boss has gotten a hella lot better at cooking ever since he started taking actual cooking lessons." he muttered, and sat at the counter. "You guys want some coffee? Tea?" Sans muttered something like, 'Mustard' so that's what he got. Papyrus set the pancakes down on the table, and everyone eventually sat at the table. Undyne was having a ball with the syrup, and Papyrus was scowling and lecturing her, "THATS SO WASTEFUL!" Undyne ignores him. Sans picks at his food a little before eating, and me and Alphys are talking about anime. I laugh, a look at the clock. "Oh crap, I'm late to take Frisk to school!" I run upstairs to get their backpack, tell them to eat faster, and get myself ready. "Frisk, cmon, grab my hand, we've gotta go!" Frisk nods, and waves bye to everyone. We run outside, and I start chanting a wind spell, the same one that got me away from the soldier attack, and a wind spirit came down from the clouds, "Greetings y/n, how long has it been? Centuries? Well, anyway, nice to see you again, how may I assist you this time?" The spirit asks, cooly in a silky voice.

The winged wolf glanced at Frisk, "Hello Khyal, long time no see, we'r in a rush, and I was wondering if you could drop Frisk off at school, while I go to work, I know you aren't supposed to be used for this kinda stuff, but I don't want to get fired, and Frisk can't be tardy." The wolf nods, and gestures for Frisk to mount. Frisk excitedly gets on, "Also Frisk, at four, can you bring Flowey and you're imaginary friend over?" They nod, with a confused expression, "Also, please hold on to her neck fur, I don't want you falling off." They nod again, and I wave bye to them as the wind spirit swirls into the sky, heading towards the school. I sigh. I hope Khyal won't be mad at me for using her in such an immature way... I shake the thought away, and get into my car, heading for Grillbys.
