"If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed"
-U.S. Navy Adm. William H. McCravenIf you make your bed every morning, then you have completed the first task of the day. It gives you a little confidence, a small sense of pride, a feeling of achievement, and will make you want to accomplish another task, then another, then another. So by the end of the day, that one task completed, will have turned into many tasks completed. And if by chance you have a miserable day, then you come home to a bed that is made, a bed that you made. And this will give you the encouragement to say that tomorrow will be a better day.
We all want to be successful, and we all want to be known for our success, but what most people fail to realize is the fact that success is reserved for a very special few among us. And only those special few will truly understand the concept of making their bed and will therefore understand the true meaning of success.
Making your bed every morning, sets you up to succeed during the day. You mind is being active, and is beginning to activate the competitive drive within each and every single one of us. This makes you ready to complete more tasks, more complex tasks, and by the end of the day, you can look back, and see that everything you have done today has furthered your cause to becoming successful tomorrow.
So I urge each and every one of you readers, when you wake up tomorrow morning, or if you haven't gotten out of bed today, make the bed. Look at the amazing difference this simple act has on your life.
