This is the first ever full-length story I have ever written. I wrote this when I was thirteen and finished it when I was fourteen. Do take note that I was really young when I first started writing, so there are many areas in the story that are absolutely cringey.

I still cringe when I read it up till this day.

Furthermore, if it wasn't glaringly obvious in the story, I am not from America so I sincerely apologise if I made any wrong assumptions about the American schooling system or about Sans Francisco, the setting for my story. I did as much research as I could, but Wikipedia can only tell me this much.

I started this story as I really loved writing but I was really hesitant on putting this up on Wattpad as I only wrote this for my pleasure. As a result, I only started posting chapters nearly a year after I had finished the book.

I don't really expect much reads, or any at all, I just didn't want to keep my story cooped up in my laptop for only my eyes to see. So, I set it free into the world of Wattpad.

This story was written based on my real-life experiences. I'm not the type of writer to micro-plan every single detail in the story before actually getting down to writing it. I'm the type of writer who just plans a rough skeletal outline of the story in my head (reliable, I know) and just goes about writing. Any new things that I experienced which might be useful to the storyline are typed out in the Notes app on my phone, which I will amend to the story later.

I'm a strong believer that a story is only good when the writer can truly empathise and feel what the characters are feeling, so writing a teen romance novel is definitely a huge hurdle. However, I'm a pretty big daydreamer; I sometimes lay in my bed at night trying to picture my story in my head, and pretend I'm the main character, so I hope that this story would do justice to all those first loves out there.

I'm already working on my second story, which I'm positive would be better than this one (in my eyes), so I hope that this story would also see the light of day one day on Wattpad.

Happy reading!
