A Place Without Me

I dream of a place without me.

I left the people behind,

I left pain and sadness behind.

I go to a place just for me,

without adults, children and friends

without pain and sadness.

In this new place I think about what I left behind,

The adults, children and friends go about their day, like nothing has changed.

In this new place,

I'm alone

I feel happy and comfortable.

If only I could go to a place like that.

I wake up and go about my day.
