-Flashback-

"You look so ridiculous Cami!!" I said holding my stomach and laughing. 

She walks away rolling her eyes slipping off the dress. "Well I don't care I just want to get through senior year together and I don't know about you, but I want to look hot while doing it." 

I laugh again. "Okay, fine." 

We spent the rest of that afternoon looking for the hottest things we could find and we were pretty successful. 

We left the outlet with our arm full of bags with school supplies and various items of clothing.

"Wait wait wait Court we need to take pictures!" She yelled at me. 

I laughed and set the bags I was holding down pulling out my phone.

"Okay, where?" She pointed at the horizon.

"There's a really pretty sunset and we could take them in front of it?"

I nod and set the timer on my camera and run over to where she was. We took a few photos like that and loaded all the bags into the trunk of her car.

-End of Flashback-

"Miss Evans?" The doctor standing in front of me looked at me concerned.

"Yes sorry, what were you asking?" I said rubbing my temple- my head was killing me.

"I was asking what hurts." He said looking down at his clipboard.

"Um... my leg as numb and my head is pounding." He nods and makes a few notes on his clipboard.

"Can you tell me why you are here?"

I bite my lip and hold back tears. "I-I don't remember"

He nods and walks out, whispering to the nurse by the door. She glances at me and nods to him.

"Do you want to see your sister?" She asks me with a sad smile.

I turn away and shake my head. "No, not yet, I can't face her."

She taps the IV cord and checks the monitor. "I'll let her know you're not feeling well enough yet."

I look at her and say, "Can I ask you something about another patient?"

She starts to say something but I cut her off and whisper, barely audible, "Camilia Torrez?"

She freezes and looks at me with sympathy. "I'm really not supposed to share this information but Camilia is in a coma with a collapsed lung and many broken bones. We had to do an emergency surgery and we might have to-" 

I cut her off again and choke back tears. "Is she really in a coma?"

She looks towards the door. "I'm sorry, but she is. A boy has been coming by every day to see her. He's asked about you but the doctor wasn't permitting you visitors at that time."

I jerk my head up and immediately regret it as pain flashes through my neck. "If you see him tell him that I want to talk to him, please?"

She nods and squeezes my hand. "Take it easy okay?"

I nod and close my eyes, drifting yet again into the memory of that day...

-Flashback-

I nod and set the timer on my camera and run over to where she was. We took a few photos like that and loaded all the bags into the trunk of her car.

Cami walked slowly over to the driver's side of her car and leaned on the door rubbing her head slowly.

"Cami, are you okay?" I asked her.

When she didn't respond I walked over her and gently put my hand on her shoulder.

"Cam?" I said softly

She still didn't respond. I shook her. "Camilia!"

She snapped her head up. "Sorry I was just thinking about something."

I raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure?"

She nods and I pull her in for a hug.

"I'm fine I was just thinking." She said with a convincing smile.

I nod at her and hug her, walking back over to my side of the car.

Camilia starts the car as I open a text message from my boyfriend Zach.

She reaches over and turns up the radio and we grin at each other.

The song that was playing was our all-time favorite and we always sang it at the top of our lungs.

We started singing and by the time the song was over, we were laughing so hard we could barely breathe.

I grabbed my stomach for the second time today and laughed while trying to speak. "C-Cami, stop!! Watch the road I don't want to die!"

We looked each other and burst out laughing again.

I finally could maintain a straight face and said "Come on Cam I'm serious. We don't need to die, its senior year, and the boys are coming back from L.A tomorrow."

She smiled at me and looked at the road. "I love you Court."

I reached over and squeezed her shoulder. "Love you to Cami."

I started to reply to Zach, laughing a little bit and suddenly I flew forward my leg smashing between the seat and the dashboard.

I screamed out in pain and then everything went black.
