Chapter 3

After I said bye to Amber and Xavier, I drove home. I was now laying in my bed wearing my favorite pajama pants. They were blue with little dinosaurs on them. I was sucking on my paci trying to go to sleep when I heard my phone go off. Ding ding. My room lit up from the notification. "I got a text Bentley!" I excitedly told my favorite stuffie. He's a baby polar bear from Antarctica. He was kidnapped and got lost. He was brought to the pet store where I adopted him. I unlocked my phone and read the message. It was from Amber. I was so excited! I had hoped she would text me soon. I thought about what I should text back. I didn't want to seem too clingy. I typed, "It was great to meet you too! Maybe we can hang out soon. I hope you have a good day at work tomorrow(:" Even though I had just met Amber, I already felt like we had such a connection. I fell asleep with my paci, snuggling Bentley, replaying the night in my head.
