Bucky and Steve had been distancing themselves lately they were sneaking around together and whispering amounts each other. At first (y/n) didn't mind boy will be children she thought but after a while, it became concerning and made her paranoid about what could possibly be happening behind her back. What made it worse was they were having sex without her usually it wasn't a problem hearing or seeing just having sex without her turned her on but had sex three times in the same day without her they had been clinging to each other more kissing and talking and holding hands. (y/n) was starting to feel left out in the relationship like a third wheel that had finally fallen off without anyone noticing. It was very sad and uncomfortable.

(y/n) walked into the kitchen early getting ready for her day at work Dr. Cho was stopping by today to talk to her about some new technology. She was excited. As she walked into the kitchen to see Steve at the stove making breakfast in nothing but sweatpants, Bucky was still sleeping.

"Good morning" she whispered as she came up hugging him from behind

"good morning," he said as he leaned back and gave her a peck on the lips the most affection she had received in the last two week besides forehead kisses. "Orange juice on the counter" he motioned behind him, where her favorite mug sat on the counter filled with Orange Juice.

"thank you" she sat at the table scrolling to social media and emails on her phone as she waited for breakfast. Soon after Bucky came out shaggy hair and baggy sweatpants. Without saying anything he gave her a peck on the lips then moved to Steve at the stove. Steve got more than a peck (y/n) watched as the two basically dove straight into a makeout session. They were so busy making out and feeling each other up that they forgot about the food on the stove of course (y/n) jumped up and saved the eggs as the two stuck their hands down each other's pants in the middle of the kitchen. Not being able to handle it anymore she decided orange juice was enough breakfast and left.


"Is doctor Cho here yet? " (y/n) asked as she poked her head in Bruce's lab he laughed at her eagerness "no and she won't be here for a few more hours. What's up why are you so jumpy?"

"I just need something to distract myself with"

"why?"

"relationship problems"

"should I ask"

"no"

"Alright, so I tested the blood, you remember from a few weeks ago, finally got some results but it doesn't look like anything serious. No visible side effects."

"but in this day and age just because you can't see the change doesn't mean it is there"

"you're right I'm going to asks for their death certificates and autopsies. Maybe the insides tell a story the outsides don't" Bruce said with an ah-ha look. (y/n) laughed as smart as Bruce and Tony have they often missed the smallest details or overlooked entire ideas and topics. As smart as they were old age was ruining their eyes and slowed their minds but skipped over things. Of course, she would never say that to their faces.

"looks like we've got work to do before Dr. Cho gets here. Maybe she'll be interested in this too."

"something is wrong with (y/n)" Bucky said as he finished eating his breakfast. Their makeout session didn't go far after their heated kiss they noticed missing (y/n) but Friday notified them of her departure to work without breakfast. They decided they'd deliver her lunch later.

"What do you mean?" Steve asked

"You haven't noticed"

"no, I've noticed she's become a bit more distant. But I asked others and they say she's fine. Maybe it's just us."

"Have we done her wrong?" Bucky asked he knew something was wrong but he didn't know what

"I think I figured it out... We're bot bad at keeping secrets so we both decided to keep or distance. I think our distances is the problem but I don't want to ruin the surprise."

"Maybe we should just speed it up and do it tonight"

"tonight? okay, I could move our reservations up talk to Tony and get rid of everyone for the night. It'll be a bit of work but I think we can do it" Steve said with a smile it was happening tonight.

"Hopefully she'll say yes"

As planned the rest of the boy's day were spent moving all of their plans to this day. It was pretty difficult but with Tony's name involved and money everything was turning out great. Everything was being moved along very quickly and Bruce and Dr. Cho kept her distracted, although Dr. Cho had no clue what was happening. Bruce was giddy thinking about it the whole time.
