It's been three months since I meet shadow. And even now when I look at her I can feel the fear in my eyes. I know shadow sees it but she tries to ignore it. Even though I'm afraid of her I think I'm falling in love with her. It's a big commitment but I am/have fallen in love with her. In the three months I've known shadow she's saved my life more times than I can count. And I've saved her once.
When you think about it, its kind of sad. But when you're in my shoes your gonna be thankful. If it wasn't for her I'd be dead. But that's beside the point. Today is Friday and I'm in ISI mostly because I was hanging out with shadow again. But every time Mrs. silvers starts writing something on the blackboard I get notes from shadow. Shadow doesn't have to do anything because everyone is afraid of her. She hates it but she always uses it to her advantage.
When mrs. Silvers told shadow to sit her ass down shadow was up in her face in almost half a second. Shadow was looking into mrs. Silvers eyes I immediately knew mrs. Silvers was going to regret what she said. Shadows eyes had gone from yellow gold to dark blood red. in less than a second I was up in the middle of shadow and mrs. Silvers. I had shadows hand in mine, she was now looking into my eyes. Her eyes softened and turned back to their normal color.
I started towards the door. Mrs. Silvers was about to say something but I cut in " that was only a warning if that happened again I won't be able to stop her. So I'd watch what you say to others especially the authority's." Mrs. Silvers didn't say another word her eyes looked sympathetic. As I took shadow to the safe room that we went whenever shadow got mad. "What the Hell was that." I asked worriedly. "I - I don't know I think my inner power was struck." She had tears in her eyes and she looked like she was about to throw up.
"We need to practice come on." I grabbed shadows hand again dragging her towards the basement. She stopped, digging her feet into the carpet. I turned around wondering why she was doing this. Shadow had a sly smile spread across her dark red lips her free hand was held out to my in a guesture to grab it. I did and was taken aback when she jerked me towards her and kissed me firmly her hands roaming my open back.
Shadow pulled back first, giving me a questioning look. A smile spread across my lips and I grabbed her by the hand and lead her down into the basement. But that smile quickly vanished once we were in the basement.
Blood everywhere, pillows and couches in shreds.
Shadow got in front of me arms out and said, "whose there?" no answer. shadow and I searched the entire basement with no luck in finding anyone. "who ever was down here left in a hurry, but made sure they left nothing behind."
we left and went to the office called Shadows dad and told the principle what we found. then we just sat and waited for Shadows dad to pick us up.
