The Walking Dead- Carl Grimes x Male Reader

The Hilltop

M/n walked with Rick, Michonne, and Carl around Alexandria. They showed him around and introduced him to people.

They walked into their house and Michonne picked up Judith who has was sitting on the ground playing. "This is Judith." M/n looked at her and smiled. She smiled back at him then looked at Michonne. Michonne put her down and went into the kitchen.

"Dad. Michonne. I need to tell you something." Carl said. M/n looked at him then at the two. "Ok. What is it?" Rick asked. Carl looked down then back up at them then sighed. "I might be gay." Carl said. Michonne smiled then looked at Rick. Rick looked at Carl then M/n then back to Carl. "Okay. Are you two....? You know." Carl smiled. "Yeah. We just started dating today." Rick looked at Carl. "I thought you liked Enid. I can tell she liked you back. You should probably tell her." Rick said. "I did. But I don't know. I mean as a friend."  Carl said. Rick nodded. "I mean if it makes you happy, then I'm happy for you." Rick said. Rick was about say something else until they heard a knock at the door. "Come in!" Rick yelled. The door opened then closed.

Aaron walked in and then looked at everyone. "Am I interrupting something?" He asked. Rick nodded no. "Negan is here." Aaron said. Rick sighed. "Okay. I'll be right there." Rick said. Aaron walked out of the house. Rick looked at Carl and M/n. "You two stay here. Bring Judith upstairs then come back downstairs." Rick said then him and Michonne left. M/n and Carl looked at each other. M/n brought Judith upstairs then came back down. He walked up to Carl and kissed his head. They smiled at each other.  Then they heard a gunshot then screaming. They looked at each other then went outside.

"What is this? What is this? This little bad boy made from scratch? Look at those crimps. This was homemade. You may be stupid darling but you showed some real ingenuity here. Lucille's beautiful smooth surface is never going to look the same. Neither is yours unless you tell me who made the bullet." Negan said.

"It was me. I made it." Rosita replies.
"Now I think your just lying to me. And lying to me now is not a good idea. Now tell me who made it." "I did." "You are such a BADASS." "Arat kill someone."

The woman holding the knife holding to Rositas face looked at him and shot Olivia. Everyone screamed and started crying. Negan looked at M/n and Carl. "Well well. If it isn't M/n and Carl. Nice to see ya again." Negan said. "I'm going to ask one more time. Who the HELL MADE THE BULLET?" Negan looked at around everyone. "I did. Don't hurt anyone else." Tara spoke up. Negan raised his bat at Tara's face. "No. I did." A sobbing Eugene said. Negan looked at him.

"Look I believe you. I do. Well I think this is enough business for one day. I'm gonna take the bullet maker with me and we'll we will be on our way." Negan said. One of the Saviors grabbed Eugene then the Saviors left. Rick looked at M/n and Carl then walked up to them. "We need to talk." Rick said as he walked past them and into the house.

Rick looked at M/n and Carl as they walked into the house. "How does Negan know you M/n? Does the saviours take from you too?" Rick asked. M/n looked at him then Carl then back to Rick. "No. Me and my people killed a bunch of their people when they tried to get us to give them stuff. Now they have been trying ever since. You know since they know we have weapons. We can help you and your people. If we just come together." M/n said then held Carl's hand at the last part.

Rick looked at them. "We know another community that can help. The hilltop. Two of our own are there. We can talk to the leader together."

M/n, Rick, Carl, Tara, Michonne and a few others came with to go to the hilltop.

The gates opened to hilltop and everyone walked up to a couple people. They all hugged a dude that looked like shit and then the woman in the hat looked at M/n. "Who is this?" She asked. Rick looked at her and was about to speak then Carl spoke up. "His name is M/n. He helped me. He's the only reason why I'm not dead right now." Carl said then held the boy's hand. Maggie looked at their hands then to them and smiled. "Well if you like him, so shall we. Now let's go talk with the leader here." Maggie said.

They walked into a room with a middle aged man. They started talking and he didn't want to help them. M/n looked at Carl and let go of his hand. He walked up to the mans desk. "Did you really want to be controlled by a bunch of dicks? If you help us, you can make a better future. For everyone."

Gregory looked at with a surprised look. "Ok I'm not gonna listen to someone who doesn't what it's like to run a community and having to make tough decisions. You are just a follower son." Gregory said. M/n was about to say something then Jackie started calling him through his radio.

"Max? Max do you copy?" Max grabbed the radio on his belt and put it up to his face. "Yeah I'm here. What's the matter?" "It's Maddie. She got shot by one of the Saviors. But it wasn't a normal bullet. It had poison on it. She's dying Max. I'm sorry." Jackie said. M/n just looked at his radio then threw it out the window. It broke the glass then M/n stormed out of the room. "M/n wait." Carl said then followed him out. Everyone looked at each other not knowing what to do.

Carl pulled M/n by his arm as he was going down the steps towards him. He looked at Carl. Carl put his hand on his face. "It's ok. Everything is going to be ok." Carl said. A tear fell down M/n's face. "She's just a kid. Why did this have
to happen?" M/n said.

Carl looked at him and smiled. He looked around then back at M/n. M/n leaned in and kissed him on the lips. They pulled away from each other. M/n looked behind Carl then laughed. Carl looked behind him and saw everyone. Tara was giving them a thumbs up. Carl got embarrassed and mad. He looked at M/n like he was going to kill him. He just continued laughing.

From a distance, Enid was watching them and she balled her fist then wiped her tears away.
