Hey (:

I haven’t wrote this in ages, so here is the next chapter (:

Chapter Seven

I pulled my jeans on and slipped a plain white t-shirt on before shaking Sammi awake. She stirred in her sleep before opening her eyes slowly. Wow! Her beauty just blows me away every time.

“Sammi, we’re meeting you’re parents and Ben soon, you need to get ready,” I reminded her and stepping back so that she can’t pull me back down.

She yawned, “I know, but how about we have a bit of fun first?” She offered and I shook my head whilst looking her over lustfully.

“We can’t, even though I want to, we can’t. Your dad will give me hell if we’re late. Besides, we’re meeting Ben’s new girlfriend.”

“Oh God, another one?” She complained, making me laugh.

“Yeah, I think she is called – wait a minute, how come I know all of this and it’s your family?” I asked laughing still.

“You try too hard with mine.” She mumbled before opening her eyes once again and sitting up, stretching her arms.

“Well, one of us has to.” I told her in a half serious manner before walking into the bathroom and brushing my teeth and going to the toilet.

Once I walked back in, she was still sat on the bed and just looking into the mirror. “Are you okay?”

“I look well rough.”

I laughed. “Okay then flower, just jump in the shower, but if you do, you best be fast!”

How could she look rough? She was beautiful inside and out, I know I may sound a little soppy, but this girl has me entranced under some sort of magic wand, cliché I know but it’s the only way I can describe it. Her dark brown hair and constant tanned skin complimented her brown eyes perfectly. Plus she looked after everyone and would never hurt anyone on purpose.

We were finally ready after an hour of her getting ready, but damn whatever she did made her look more gorgeous than what I could have imagined in my head, and she was all mine! I couldn’t wait to get her in bed tonight!

Due to the fact that we lived at the end of their street, we walked up and knocked on their house, 12 Hamer Avenue. It was a three bedroomed house with a beauty to it that goes unnoticed. With Sammi’s mum, Grace doing the garden up nicely with flowers and bushes and the little ornaments in the window, it made it look really family-orientated, which it is. Her mum isn’t as enthusiastic as my mum, far from it but she loves her kids and I think that is all you need.

“Mum, dad!” Sammi greeted, giving them each a tight hug.

“Grace, Harold.” I told them gaining a small hug from Grace and a handshake from Harold.

“Where are Ben and his new piece?” Sammi asked and Grace gasped a little, making me laugh. They are nothing like my parents at all and it makes me laugh.

“His new piece is called Clare and I think that she is the one. And they are coming here in half an hour, they just had to pop out somewhere.” Grace told us both. We sat down in the cotton blue sofas, Sammi cuddling up to me. “Would you like a brew?”

“Yes please, tea, two sugars and a bit of milk please.” I told her and she nodded her head whilst smiling before going out.

“You remember mine don’t you mum?”

“How could I forget? Tea, six sugars and plenty of milk.” She scolded and Sammi smiled sheepishly.

“So did you enjoy it?” Her dad asked.

“Oh yes, Barcelona and Benidorm were amazing and so different, weren’t they Kyle?”

“What flower?” I asked, not listening to her as the news was on, about a shooting in Ibiza and a killing.

“Flower?” Her father wondered, raising an eyebrow, his receding hairline, raising a little.

“Oh yeah…it’s what I’ve always called her.” I mumbled.

“Oh, well we were saying, did you enjoy it.” He told me.

“Yes, anywhere with Sammi is good but yeah, I really enjoyed Barcelona.”

“Stop with the corny lines.” Sammi scolded lightly, a smile playing on her lips.

“Sorry flower, they just seem to roll off my tongue.”

“I miss you around here, you know.” Her father told Sammi.

“I know dad, but it’s my dream job. When I hit thirty, I’ll have to stop because I’ll be too old, so for now I enjoy to live life to the full. You never know when you’re gonna snuff it do you?”

The thought of Sammi not being in my life sent shivers up my spine, life without Sammi is just too hard to even imagine. “Yeah, but I plan on keeping you around for a little longer.” I told her and she smiled shyly in my direction.

Her mum came in with the brews in her hand, four in two hands. It amazes me, my mum can do it as well, but when I tried it, I spilt them all over my hands and had to drop two of the cups because my hands were killing me. The other two people’s cups were only half full when they got them as well.

We sat just talking about non important stuff when her brother walked through the front door. He looked exactly like Sammi but an older, male version. He had the tanned skin and the dark brown eyes. They must have got the looks from their mother as their father had copper coloured hair and was fair skinned. I’ll have to ask if Sammi’s mum has some sort of Italian heritage.

“You looking after my little sister Harper?” He asked as he came and sat in between us, making Sammi roll her eyes.

“I am.” I responded. “Where’s your girlfriend?”

He huffed. “She got too needy.” He spoke and Grace looked like she was about to faint, while their father had to stop themselves from laughing.

“I thought she was a keeper?” Sammi asked her mum.

“Don’t you know Sammi? Every one of my girlfriends is a keeper.” Ben spoke.

“I just want you to be happy.” She sighed.

“I am, you don’t need to be in love like these two, to have fun.” He told him mum whilst wiggling his eyebrows.

“So, how has your life been?” Sammi asked him.

“The same really, I miss you though.” He told her and she smiled.

“I miss you to, on rare occasions.”

“Rare occasions, eh? I feel hurt.” He feigned.

“Really?”

“Yeah, my only sibling doesn’t miss me all the time when she is off in the middle of Europe working. Wow I need to rephrase that, when you are a holiday representative.” I burst out laughing when he said that, along with Sammi, I stopped straight away though when Grace gave us both the look. He sure has a way with words; I’ve got to give him that.

We had tea, which was a Sunday meal: beef, Yorkshire puddings, peas, carrots; the works. It tasted lovely as well, but Grace always has made the best food. We should come here on the weekdays instead of risking giving one of us food poisoning, which is bound to happen soon. I’ll pitch the idea to her later.

Ben entertained us all afternoon as well, they must have both been lucky kids, looks from their mother and their sense of humour from their dad, even if he won’t show much of it in front of me, the tales that Sammi has told me of him just make me want to laugh. Even though it’s been longer than a year, he still treats me like I’m some kind of monster that will break her heart, which I can guarantee will never happen. Sammi and I are for life.

Hey! (:

It feels good writing something different, where I want to go with this is a good idea but I don’t know of many people will like it…

Hope you enjoyed!
