"Mama...mamaaa!" I yelled running through the house.

"Over here sugar!" she replied from the kitchen in her homey southern accent. I quickly ran to her.

"Do you like my hair mama. Did it all by myself!" I stood before her with clips all over my head and messy low pony tail. If you could call it that I mean.

"Honey, I love it! Good job! Remember though, your always beautiful to me and your father no matter what.

My mom always did try to tell me that no matter what anyone said, I was beautiful in the inside an out.

"Now sweetheart, let's eat!"

I took a seat at our small dining room table and looked at the food before us.

At the end of prayer Mom glanced out the window nervously then studied her hands in front of her. As soon as the worry crossed her face it left.

'What a storm! I'm gonna take a step out on the porch. Love you." she said kissing my cheek.

"I love you too."

After a while I started getting worried. I had already finished my food. Then I heard a faint scream.

Mom.

I hurried to the door and swung it open. The most monstrous storm stood right in front of me.

"Mama!" I screamed. I looked around for dad but he was off at a business trip.

Flashes of light crossed the sky. My ears rang from the noise of the destruction the tornado was causing. I looked at my mom with horror in my eyes. She was being dragged away into the eye of the storm. Her nails digging into the ground, trying to get a grip on anything they could.

She lost grip and flew into the air but she thought fast and clenched the flag pole as hard as she could.

"Mama!" I screamed again. I gripped the door frame hard enough to leave claw marks in the wood. Tears stained my face, hot and messy. The tornado only 75 or so feet away. I let go of the door frame and let myself fall into the porch railing.

"Stay where you are! If you come closer you will die!" She screamed, yet her voice was hardly loud enough to be heard.

"Please, mama!" I begged,  "Stay!"

"Sugar, I cant!"

Then she left me.

She screamed as she was twirling around and around and around... I was horrified. Scarred at the age of 6.

Our eyes met for the last time before she got hit by a metal fence impaling her chest. I ran down to our basement when the winds strength lessened.

Thankfully, the basement had the safest bathroom to puke in. After I lost my supper I sat in the corner rocking back an forth. My only hope left was that dad would make it safely home tomorrow.

Tomorrow I would be safe in his arms.

I'm 16 now. My name is Ariana an I am determined to find the puppy kicking man who killed my mother because the tornado wasn't just any tornado. This one was ran by a person who wanted to kill our family. But if he wanted to do that, he'd have to do a lot better than just a tornado.

Hey guys! Here's another one.

I don't know how frequent ill be updating but I'll try as much as possible considering schools going to start back up in a couple of weeks.
