dreams

Lately you've been in my dreams
Always
For some reason it's always been you
I miss you
You've held me up for so long
And if I can't give you the world
I want you to find it in someone else
Find someone who will give you
The world like I once did
Because I won't be here forever
Maybe some day I will be
But right now I'm just a thoughtless mess
Something you don't want
As much as you do
I am not the one anymore
Or maybe I am
Who the hell knows
I just know I miss you

You're still here after all of this time
You still talk to me
Why?
That's a question
I don't want to hear the answer tho
I just want you back
Back in my arms wrapped around me
And a familiar face
A familiar voice
A familiar hug
A dream that's what this is a dream
You're always going to be a dream
Not a reality like you once were.
