A land better than Olympus

Florence

Annabeth was upset, she had come all the way from New York to Florence with Percy. (Obviously because he couldn't normally take the plane they had received asylum from the gods percy could travel by plane and monsters would ignore them) Then they had arrived in florence to find that the monument she most wanted to see had been damaged by a fire and was now closed. Annabeth stared longingly at the Palazzo Vecchio. 

No. She decided she would sneak into the museum. She went back to the hotel to get Percy. They found there way back to the placa.

"How do we get into the museum?" Percy asked

"Well I was thinking of using the invisibility cap" Annabeth explained "I can go ahead and scout the way then we can sneak in together"

"Sure" said Percy "I'll wait for you right here"

"I'll be right back" Annabeth said giving Percy an affectionate peck on the cheek and pulled on her cap.

All of a sudden Annabeth could see a group of teenagers standing in the middle of the square, only a moment ago they hadn't been there. She whispered to Percy

"Do you see the group of kids standing over there?" Percy looked over then looked near Annabeth unfortunately since she was invisible he missed by a little. He looked concerned

"No no one is in that spot" Annabeth took off her cap and the teens disappeared. She turned to Percy who looked a little embarrassed that he hadn't been looking directly at Annabeth.

"They must be invisible" Annabeth mused "I'm going to investigate"

The group seemed to be moving towards the Palazzo Vecchio, Annabeth couldn't hear a word the people were saying be they all seemed super worried. They were beautiful each one was more gorgeous than the last so it seemed a shame that they were all wearing ratty sweatshirts with different marvel or avengers characters. Except for two who were wearing nicer clothes. A blonde girl with brown eyes wore a yellow and brown t shirt and one of the boys who seemed to be the one in charge wore a grey jacket and blue scarf that drew attention to his eyes, his eyes reminded her of Percy's but more blue she looked longingly back at where Percy was standing. Each of the teens were eating gelato" The girl with dark brown hair was flashing in and out of sight with every bite. Then the group started towards the Palazzo Vecchio they stopped to galk at the David statue. Then they found there way into one of the corridors of the Palazzo Vecchio. Then a sphere like gadget floated pit of the dark haired boy's pocket. A boy with strawberry blonde hair started fiddling with it. He gave some instructions to the group and then the boy with the teal eyes rolled the gadget into the corridor. All of a sudden Annabeth could hear every word they said. They all ran, Annabeth followed them, the hall had no lights and Annabeth banged her shoulder on one of the girls's arm. The girl shrieked and a bit of frantic yelling insued. Annabeth was relieved when one of them made a joke about it being another naked statue.
